Hey guys,

Writing this the night before another annual city series compilation gets released. As is tradition with the compilations over the past few years, I prepare a special episode of Global DJ Broadcast to celebrate the release; previewing tracks from the upcoming CD, as well as dipping into the archives and showcasing some flashback moments from previous editions.

The city of Buenos Aires holds a very special place in my heart, and I am proud to be able to add it to the list ot cities featured on the compilation series. The Argentinean fans, and the fans in South America altogether, are so passionate for our scene and have embraced me so well with every visit. 

But hopefully this will also be a compilation for the world. After months of preparation and long nights the project has finally come to fruition, and it may be something you will admire and remember for a long time to come.

Gearing up for Fleming & Lawrence’s debut show in New York this weekend, Christopher pulls out all the stops with a banging two hours of Pharmacy Music influenced trance this month. Featuring new tracks from Ascent, E-Clip, Tantrix, Hypnocoustics, Blanka, Hopeku, Freaked Frequency plus Pharmacy’s Memory Splice as well as Christopher’s own new single “Libra”. 

This months guest mix comes from Pharmacy’s Renato Dinis who has quickly become one of the most prolific producers on the Pharmacy Label. Renato made his debut with a pumping remix of Cowboy Mike Pres. CBM – Motion Emotion.  His remix received huge support from like’s of Paul Oakenfold, John Askew and label boss Christopher Lawrence. That remix was quickly followed up with remixes for John 00 Fleming and Christopher Lawrence and Phil Parry. His most recent single “Beyond Control” was his biggest release to date.

With his upcoming mix compilation "Rush Hour - Best of 2013" due for release on December 2nd, Christopher brings you two great hours of dark trance and psy trance this month. This months guest mix comes from Japan's Mirok. While studying arts at university, Mirok became interested in psychedelic trance, and began to produce music. In 2012 he joined Hinowa Recordings and Grasshopper Records where he took part in making a compilation albums. His track LSDrome was named Christopher Lawrence's favorite track for 2013. His sound production ranges from a progressive to psychedelic sound, taking his audience on an emotional ride leading into the realm of serious upper sounds. Frost Raven has a background in post-production sound and a love for movies. Serbia based Zenit Galaxy Records' PURA starts to fold the space on 23rd May 2014 Friday 5pm CET on 23rd May 2014 Friday 5pm CET on the Trance channel. 

Pura was born in the summer of 1985, in the city of Sabac, in Serbia. Grew up by the river, listening to nature, connecting the sounds with Goa Trance at the age of 12, and then he takes the musical “path of no return”, where he still walks. He played music for the first time in 2003, and since then, through his journeys and communication with different cultures and people, he develops the skills of self-sustainability and alternative living. His experience grew in the fields of party and festival organizing, ecology, bio-constructions, musical production, graphic design, decorations, tourism. 

He is one of the creators of Save the Rave Tribe Org, and NGO “Zen.IT Creative Society”, which produced several eco-music festivals and various creative and educational workshops, and from 2013, a music label “Zenit Galaxy Records”. Pura is also a resident DJ in Basta Sava Centra Club, in Belgrade, Serbia. 

His musical influences are psychedelic trance, forest, ambient, experimental, and various jam sessions, although the music he plays in his DJ sets depend on the environment, people and the time of night (or day) when he plays. 

Currently he is producing music inspired by flora and fauna of his past journeys, and some of his tracks can be heard on the released and upcoming Zenit Galaxy Records compilations, and his album should come out in Spring of 2015. Some of the festivals he will take in summer 2014 : Lost Theory (Croatia), O.Z.O.R.A. (Hungary), Waha (Romania), Free Earth (Greece), Exit (Serbia).

It's a busy month of the production front for Christopher Lawrence with the release of his new single Terminus, and his upcoming mix compilation Pharmacy: Phase 4. 

To get you in the Pharmacy mood, Christopher features three tracks from Pharmacy: Phase 4 including his new single Terminus, Dub Tek's Psyched Up and a Track of the Month by Seven Ways & Planet Disconnect. Also on the Pharmacy front is Jens Jakob's new single Think About, plus Casey Rasch's remix of Lisa Lashes new single . This months guest mix comes from Pharmacy's up and coming producer Casey Rasch who aggressively seeks his own trance sounds through his music. His debut original Go on Pharmacy turned quite a few heads including Christopher Lawrence's. This success has led him to remix for giants and legends in the scene including John Askew, John 00 Fleming, Christopher Lawrence, Lisa Lashes, and Federation. His tracks have been supported by the big names in the industry to include Aly & Fila, Simon Patterson, Bryan Kearney, Indecent Noise, Paul van Dyk, Nick Sentience, Jordan Suckley, Mark Sherry, Liam Wilson, James Dymond, Ben Lost, Thomas Datt, and many more. This months guest mix is from South Africa's Lostly (Andre Frauenstein) aka 'Audio Militia' who started DJing at 13. He quickly moved on to DJ at top events and festivals around the world including Love Parade, Nature One, Decibel, Color Festival, and has also been busy supporting and headlining successful shows and tours with acts such as Simon Patterson, Cosmic Gate, Emma Hewitt, Markus Schulz, John O' Callaghan, John Askew, The Thrillseekers, Activa etc. His endless dedication & passion having paid off, Lostly is now known as one of the leading electronic DJ/Producers in South Africa, with his music being supported by the biggest performing artists around the globe, such as Armin Van Buuren on A State Of Trance. With chart topping releases featured on labels such as Discover Records, Armada, Black Hole Rec, Mental Asylum, Kearnage, Outburst, Adjusted Music, Borderline Music as well as compilation albums such as the infamous Technoclub series, Ministry Of Sound’s Trance Nation. Back from another incredible Burning Man and jetting off to Argentina this weekend, Christopher Lawrence checks in with another slamming episode of Rush Hour for September.

This months guest mix is from Grains of Sound, whose new single “Eager" Fingers” / “Paradigm Bag” is out this month on Christopher’s label Pharmacy Music. 

Grains of Sound is the ambient-psy-trance project from brothers Chris (Exeris) & Jason Sevanick, who gained notoriety with their industrial electronic act, Mindless Faith. Always ones to push boundaries, the brothers turned their production talents to the more underground electronic music sound that had captured their attention.

Grains of Sound came to Pharmacy Music with a proven history of creating genre defying psy-trance. In 2007, Grains of Sound released their double-disc debut album "Rays of Life", comprised of Vol. 1 Down (downtempo) and Vol. 2 Under (ambient), on AlterCulture Records. The album received excellent reviews and their follow up album "Sine Language" (2010) received even greater acclaim for their exploration of different styles and energy levels.  From uptempo psychedelic trance, both progressive and minimal, along with hints of house and breaks, to lush, sweeping soundscapes that wash over sub bass frequencies and deep downtempo beats, to Vast evolving layers, organic textures and sentient sounds leave all beats behind, pure ambient intoxication.
