i don't think i'm going home, this thing won't leave me alone..I've got fragments of the sun and moon imbedded in the core of my cerebral stem.. and of course there is that key That's allegedly buried in this pile of sacred rocks in space that supposedly unlocks the gate that holds the dog and holds the bone and blocks the path that takes me home.

Check yourself, what are you feeling at the present moment..Some times i can feel the giant moving slightly in it's sleep.. just like Vishnu dreaming high in the mountain valleys of the mighty Himalayas.

Showcase: Vía de Acceso 12 @ Radio Ensayo (17.6.21)

It's a real pleasure for me to introduce this work, which has probably been the most interesting, complex and somehow challenging collaborative session I ever joined so far, at least in terms of rearrangement tasks.
It all started with an early version of a piece by The FURICO Music Team (@user-596493783) called "Mood Of Two" (https://soundcloud.com/user-596493783/double-beat-swing - feel free to take a look at the production notes as well, at https://furicomusicteam.blogspot.com/p/mood-of-two.html). We had been planning a collaboration for a while, so they sent me this groovy composition of theirs, both audio and midi files, allowing me the freedom to do whatever I wanted with them. 
On the one hand, I was intentioned to respect the original structure of the piece, and after listening to their own final version of it, released in late February 2021, I was literally blown out by all of the cool electro-psych features they'd added to the original tune, so my aim was delivering a rendition of that new vibe as well. On the other hand, I wanted to do it my own way, spicing it up with a typical Teth Sin flavour. 
First of all, I resampled the original drums tracks, trying to give them an acoustic feel. Then I replaced the bassline with my own, somehow developing it with a fair amount of variations; I overdubbed a couple of electric guitar tracks, and an electric piano part.
It was about time to add vocals as well, so I asked my friend Stonerjazz (@user-911083679) if he wanted to join in, remembering him being a big fan of The FURICO Music Team too. He enthusiastically accepted, as I'd expected, and a few days later he sent me a recording of him singing one of his amazing poems on the pre-existing, swingy backing track. He's recently released a ballad version of these lyrics (at https://soundcloud.com/user-911083679/beloved-sisters-of-the-storm), which is of course totally different and still very cool. 
I adapted his vocals stem on the sections where I wanted the singing to appear, and I finally added to most of the tracks a few weird, stuttering effects. This final sound design stage was crucial in order to deliver the kind of sound I was looking for. My aim was distilling a proper mixture of our combined styles, and I think my efforts paid off. Regardless of the aesthetic value of this work, it has been an extremely interesting experience for us, we all had fun and we're satisfied with it. 
I'd like to conclude by quoting Stonerjazz's first reaction when he listened to the final mix: "Well, Mick... What can I say about this elixir...?"
