sometimes we don't know what to say because there are no words. sometimes we regret what's already been said. sometimes words are weapons and sometimes they're used to make money... even when it's exploitative.

i wrote this for my songwriting partner during my chrome bones period, greg zauner. it was a reaction to his death, which was caused by opioids, and it took me 4 years to finish. it's not perfect, but he would have liked it. i'll continue to write songs and record them and post them, but this is the final chrome bones song.

in the united states, white christo-fascists are trying to turn women into property, disenfranchise minorities and other religions, and subvert the rule of law. some employers seem to think along the same lines. this is my response.

i really love the guitar sound on this one. i used 2 boss multi-effect generators from different eras, a chorus effect on the mixer, and an electro harmonix electric mistress.
