"MOTHER and Son" is an album that features the songs of the MOTHER / Earthbound series completely reimagined and revised. The album was created to celebrate the release of Earthbound Beginnings on Wii U and to promote the Japanese only title MOTHER 3 in wishes that it will eventually cross the sea into the US and Europe.

"Elec Man Stage" from the 1987 NES game "Mega Man", composed by Manami Matsumae.

This is not from emulation. This was recorded from a genuine front-loading NES console. The NES was modded so its audio would bypass the amp/mixdown stage. This dual-channel audio directly from the 2A03 chip was amplified by a FiiO E6 and captured by a Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro at 24-bit/96khz through Audacity, then mixed down to mono and losslessly encoded using FLAC. In other words, it's essentially the authentic NES hardware sound but without the buzzing noise. All credit for this recording goes to "The Iron Goat".
