Our favourite Australian drummer boy / psychedelic prog powerhouse - VOLKIENE is this week's SoundCast guest. This strapping young lad is one of the scene's most innovative performers, incorporating live drumming on his Roland Octapad over the top of dark, psychedelic, progressive trance. A local doof favourite, Volkiene has blown people away with his festival performances at Earth Frequency, Elements, Subsonic and Esoteric to name a few.

Chuck is a Los Angeles-based composer whose recent work spans both film and concert music. His scoring credits include the Samantha Bee: Your Favorite Woman special and films for Calvin Klein and a sound installation for the ELLE Next couture show at Lincoln Center. He has also worked on various documentaries, web series, and television projects. In addition to his film work, Chuck has composed concert pieces such as "Symphony 1" and "String Quartet 1," available on iTunes and Amazon.
