year. Those who know these found him
fitting well in with the current groove of
melodic Techno but here we find him
making a detour and branching out in a
direction that is most certainly to appeal
to the purist House heads.

fundamentally brings out the best of
Dauwd’s trademark canorousness as he
picks his way through the finest moments
of early 80’s disco reminiscing what Metro
Area accomplished in their brightest
moments. The title RITTER SPORT must
be some celebratory namesake for his
recent move to Berlin but what you get is a
walloping fist to the floor house track. You
can’t deny the Herbert-esque swing that
pulses throughout this jam. TAKE FOUR is
that sunrise serenade a dancefloor begs for
to beckon in a new day. Another essential
release from one of today’s most promising
and buzzed about artists!

Dauwd - Take Four

Following two seminal EPs for Lobster Theremin and a breakout debut for Nous, Route 8's 'Dry Thoughts EP' gets a wavy rework. Gone are the title track and B2 and in is 'Relaxed', a summer house anthem that slams from the high heavens. Eagle-eared LT fans will spot what this track was in it's previous guise, the rest can just sit back and be cuddled to death by warm synths.
