Steve Sibra is no newcomer to the French electronic music scene. Active since 1999, he has already released several albums and around forty EPs. 
Originally from Paris but now based in Montpellier in the south of France, Steve is a radio man. For many years, he hosted Laboratoire Sonore on Montpellier 91 FM, where he welcomed the cream of international artists to his show. 

Steve joined the Brique Rouge team in 2022 and, in just a few releases, has risen to become one of the core artists shaping the label's sound. He brings his inimitable touch of melancholic deep techno and melodic, cinematic soft house, sometimes infusing it with a strong electro influence and a few experimental touches. The quality of his productions having won over everyone who listened to them, it was only natural to (finally) offer an album that allows listeners to enter Steve's dancefloor universe.  

And what an album! With 21 tracks, it's more than an adventure, it's a huge sonic trip that draws you in from the very first track and takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions, vibrations, and sensations that doesn't let go until the very last track. It's a coherent universe, where every note is weighed for a minimalist approach to a melodious groove. 

Sometimes leaning towards “sunset music,” sometimes towards a slightly darker melancholy, Telepath Voodoo leaves no one indifferent, and each listen brings its own set of details and surprises.  So listen to it loud, listen to it on headphones, listen to it while dancing or meditating, but let yourself be carried away on this long journey that Steve Sibra offers you.  Undoubtedly one of the most important French House and Electronic artists of the moment.

Created in 1999 by David Duriez, the independent French label Brique Rouge continues to promote the electronic sound that David has always believed in and defended. Far from the formatting and excessive vulgarity of the current electronic scene, the label promotes an eclectic electronic sound that remains rooted in the underground and, above all, in a clubbing vibe.  In general, the artists on the team are given carte blanche, and it is above all the spirit that counts. The label does not seek success; it is a success. The success of being able to release music without compromise. With one release per week on platforms since 2020, the label (and its divisions RZ Muzik & Obliqu3) is seen as a key player in the French underground electronic scene due to its activism.

If everything suddenly changed – what would that be like? German house producer Qnete aka Marvin Uhde has been quite active in the past couple of years, with numerous EPs released on Drowned Records, ZCKR and Lobster Theremin. He's at it again with "If Everything Suddenly Changed", his new delivery on Wake Up! Records. According to the press release, all tracks were recorded "within a short period of time" and "straight to tape, raw and improvised", which is something you can definitely hear throughout the EP. The title track featured here is a good example of it, with its warm analog sound, organic synths, and crisp electronic percussion. House music at its best, need!

The noise echoed in the empty chamber. The room was lined with metallic plates and the sound bounced in expansive chaos as the walls rattled. The light glowed a pale, glistening, medicinal white and the foghorn of a speaker continued to blare the same tune repetitively. Men marched asleep to the sound of a kick which banged and banged. Then all of a sudden there was a change, a melody, a twist of fate within a space which had once been so cold. 

Anthony Fade are an Australian duo with a sense of purpose. Having previously released on Tomahawk, Lost Palms and House Crime they now feature on Shall Not Fade accompanied by a legend in the form of Andres. He steps up to remix "Same Tune".

Wilcoxia poselgeri can be found primarily in South and West Texas, as well as the adjoining Mexican state of Coahulia. Sometimes referred to as the “Lead Pencil Cactus” or “Dahlia Hedgehog Cactus” due to its slender stems and tuberous Dahlia-like root system, Wilcoxia poselgeri grows in the sandy soils of hills and valleys on either side of the Rio Grande. When in bloom Wilcoxia poselgeri produces large, moderately fragrant pink flowers that open during the day and close at night. Initially erect, Wilcoxia poselgeri gradually begins sprawling amongst its surroundings as it matures to support the growing weight of new stems. Regarded as a slow-growing yet uniquely beautiful specimen, Wilcoxia poselgeri’s relative ease of cultivation makes it a remarkable addition to any collection. Our botanists strive to source and produce high-quality specimens to enrich your mind as well as your ears. After many months in the field our team has returned with a diverse selection of sonic seedlings. Following a series of meticulous experiments in our research facility each seedling has been deemed safe for general propagation and cleared for release.
