Welcome to the first of three EP’s from the young prodigy hailing from the deepest darkest dankest corner of some probably lightness airless room nestled away in ye olde South-West England. 

Finally emerging like some untamed ungroomed yeti from said murky corner, the young whippersnapper unleashes three similarly dank and deep cuts for Tough Love: Part One in the form of the slimy yet crunchy ‘Gherkin’, the chug chug chug number that is ’Motion’ with fellow bass booter T>I, all alongside one that surely needs no more progress whatsoever, the tub-thumping ‘In Progress’ alongside Acid Lab. 

Serious pieces of music from a not so serious man, we can’t wait for you to unleash these on the unsuspecting ravers in the club. They’re going to smash down walls and beat up rigs, and this is just the beginning of the new Tough Love project from the man they call Myth!

it's a treat to see Flight back on the productions, this time alongside Battery. Rooted in dub, Overture rolls away with raw drums, a pumping sub and mystical atmospherics before the winding bassline creeps in. The second drop progresses into the darkness as things really get out of hand with that bassline. 

Yet another class release on Jubei's Carbon towards the end of an incredibly strong debut year.

Once again we've been busy saucing the finest dubplates around to put together a super tasty various artists EP. Outsauced Pt.2 is the second in this series and we are very excited to present fresh music and new names to the label.

Firstly we welcome the prolific Zero T, who has crafted a bubbly, Bristol, bongo roller called 'On The M.I.C'.
Bad boy duo Genic have teamed up with man like Trakker to deliver one of the greatest of sauces: 'Sweet Chilli'.
Local Bristol talent Objectiv has been so busy making west country wobble that he may have been a bit distracted resulting in 'Burnt Toast'.
And finally, we welcome another one of our favourite Ukrainian producers, Dub Head, who has served up some absolute swag with 'Your Style'.

All of these tunes have been carefully selected to inject maximum vibes and saucy fun for the dance.

Skankandbass is dedicated towards the official promotion of record labels and artists in the world of drum & bass music. Hailing from Merthyr Tydfil in the Welsh valleys, Cardiff based Kane Lewis, aka Alkali, is a DJ & music producer predominately operating in the the more soulful, liquid side of Drum & Bass. 

Drawing inspiration from a number of genres from Hip Hop to Future Garage to Jazz, Alkali has a range of releases true to his soulful sound across multiple labels including Fokuz Recordings, Four Corners & Influenza Media. One to look out for!

Gemma Rose is a singer-songwriter and pianist from South Wales. She recently released her first EP with External Subway, headlined a set with Sub:liminal in Romania, and kicked off this year supporting LSB.
