I made this song in one weekend. I didn't think I'd finish this so quickly, but I figured I might as well just post it now. This will be on streaming sites soon probably. I made a version of this with Xia Yu Yao singing instead of Mai, but I probably won't post it anywhere unless someone really wants me to. They really don't sound that different with the autotune and stuff on their voices.

Hey guys I'm finally releasing this song!!! This track has been sitting on my laptop since January and I thought that since AOFEST is happening I might as well enter! 

The theme of most of the songs I have written so far is hurting. Most of my lyrics draw upon my middle school experience which wasn't the best and probably traumatized me but whatever. I wanted the theme of this song to be about healing, while also drawing upon those same middle school experiences. What I tried to do with this song is basically say "You've done some shitty things to me, but I'm cutting off the toxic people in my life and through that I'm feeling better." I don't know if it really worked but it's a song that I'm really proud to write.
