Neon Dust Loops

Time has blurred — days folding into each other on this seemingly endless sick leave. Restless, weightless, and quietly unraveling.
But lately, I’ve been finding my way back to music. A soft thread to hold onto — bringing a little stillness, maybe even meaning.
Here’s a new piece from that space.

“Människor och Monster” (Human and Monsters) takes us on a journey through different worlds – symbols of the changing phases of life. We move between light-hearted moments and those that are heavier to carry. But we can never stand still, because the world – and life – never stops moving forward.

Människor Och Monster

I wanted to write some emotive 2010 style chill step and get back to an expressiveness in the genre that I think is sometimes lost. I'm also a little tired of writing to formulaic structures, so I experimented with some time changes a key change and a slightly more explorative approach to arrangement than I would typically take. I think the end result sounds very pretty. Hopefully somebody out there agrees.
