Having made serious waves in dubstep over the past few years, SICARIA has recently found herself playing b2b with Skrillex, tearing up Coachella, Boiler Room sets and generally setting dancefloors and festivals on fire, worldwide. Her track for the comp, ‘Rhassoul’ lands as a proper dubstep cut—one foot firmly rooted in the UK’s original sonic lineage, the other venturing into bold new terrain. It feels as fresh as it does faithful to the genre. A true shoulder-roller, it delivers scattering bursts of sub-bass science at earthquake intensity, rumbling through the mix with precision and power.
