9 months ago, I remixed Erothyme's track, 'Pines and Leaves,' from his 2015 album, 'Sound in the Living Current,' for the 'Mitosis Remix Contest' hosted by Mycelium Music. As it turned out, I won by popular vote, and was awarded 2nd place.
Now, Erothyme has released the official 'Pines and Leaves Remixes' EP, and I'm stoked that he asked if I wanted to be featured on the album along with Corporeal, Ovoid, Moon Frog, 5AM, DRRTYWULVZ and Spiro B. Yond.

„La Llanura is the debut EP of Jacobo Polania aka Mente Orgánica - a young genius producer from Bogotá, Colombia. He founded his project in 2017 with the vision of „creating a ritual of introspection and union with the universe.“ His productions alchemize organic sounds with electronic elements to take the listener on a deep reflective journey within.

The EP features soothing Downtempo tracks -3 original productions and 3 remixes - inviting to an intimite,comtemplative and emotional listening / dancing experience.

Artist Bio 

The young producer, Joseph DeFaria (J•POOL), originally from the south of Canada, has been living a nomadic lifestyle for most of his adult life. Working in the forests of Canada in the summers as a tree planter, and traveling the rest of the year, Joe started his project "J•POOL" with the goal of creating music that is inspired by the many different natural environments in which he spends his life.  His intention is to produce music that will make people move and feel the connection to their innerself and the world around them.  He writes his music as he travels, finding inspiration in the feelings that arise from the unique energy present in each new location he experiences . The sound of J•POOL represents a journey through the infinite universe within as well as the unfathomably complex physical world in which our lives are manifest. 

The song "Selva" was written while I was exploring the jungles and diverse biospheres of Mexico and Central America.  My hope with this song was to capture a part of the magic the exists in those incredibly mystical lands, and translate it into something that will make people feel in touch with their more primal spiritual nature.

"Presenting 'Bouncy Tales'; the new four-track EP from Halfred, centered around the artist's whimsically cheerful sound. The opening track 'Slowctopus' is a bubbly halftime banger, sounding as oddly fun as a slimy sea creature moonwalking on the ocean bed, while 'Outta The Cave Man' takes the same tone and applies it to a pre-historic cabaret kind of setting.
