"Easy listening" might not be the most appropriate attribute of this piece. I tried to create something unique and idiosyncratic, exploring my own inner universe. I hope it is still digestible or even compelling for some listeners :-)   

Sundews are most beautiful carnivorous plants. They lure, capture, and digest insects using stalked mucilaginous glands covering their leaf surfaces. The insects are used to supplement the poor mineral nutrition of the soil in which they grow. Various species, which vary greatly in size and form, can be found growing natively on every continent.

Both the botanical name (from the Greek δρόσος: drosos = "dew, dewdrops") and the English common name (sundew, derived from Latin ros solis, meaning "dew of the sun") refer to the glistening drops of mucilage at the tip of each tentacle that resemble drops of morning dew.

I am a hobbyist composer, at the moment writing mostly piano music. I'd say my style is somewhere between classic and romantic. My pieces are played by the computer, with some tweaking of tempo and velocities to make the performances more human-like.
