2. Calming music prelude in B minor I dance to it so it would trigger my mind as well as engage the babies. 
3. Monumental- The Movie relaxing music different sounds for the baby to hear. 
4. This was a little different. It has different sounds. It isnt normal classical music. 
5. Common song relaxing but I also danced to it again triggering my brain and have a more in depth impact with the baby. 
6. Very simplistic music before bed.

In celebration of the classic 2003 album's 10th birthday, Barsuk Records is excited to announce that Death Cab for Cutie's "Transatlanticism" will be made available on vinyl after several years out of print. Both the vinyl reissue and a digital-only "Transatlanticism - Tenth Anniversary Edition" are set for October 29, 2013 release. 

The digital Anniversary Edition -- and the album MP3 download included with the vinyl -- will both include the original demos for each of the album's 11 songs, none of which has ever been released before.

Interested listeners can get the demos in four ways. In addition to their availability as part of the vinyl MP3 download and the Tenth Anniversary Edition, the demos will also be released as a separate low-priced digital release titled "Transatlanticism Demos" for fans who already own the original album. Additionally, the demos will be added as a special bonus to the download codes included in the Barsuk Years vinyl box set released earlier this year by Artist in Residence.

"Easy listening" might not be the most appropriate attribute of this piece. I tried to create something unique and idiosyncratic, exploring my own inner universe. I hope it is still digestible or even compelling for some listeners :-)   

Sundews are most beautiful carnivorous plants. They lure, capture, and digest insects using stalked mucilaginous glands covering their leaf surfaces. The insects are used to supplement the poor mineral nutrition of the soil in which they grow. Various species, which vary greatly in size and form, can be found growing natively on every continent.

Both the botanical name (from the Greek δρόσος: drosos = "dew, dewdrops") and the English common name (sundew, derived from Latin ros solis, meaning "dew of the sun") refer to the glistening drops of mucilage at the tip of each tentacle that resemble drops of morning dew.

As some of you may know, some of my improvisations start from Arty's motifs. This one is another of them: he sat in front of a piano for 10 minutes, randomly playing different motifs until he came out with the one that opens this piece. He asked me if I like it, I said that it feels like an etude for beginners but gave it a try and this is the result :)

I am happy to announce the release of my 2nd original piano album! I consider the pieces included in this album to be my best compositions, recorded in 2013. The album has some tracks, which are not included in this set.

This version is a remix of the original recording and has never been released.

"Bullets" was recorded during the "Delete Me" sessions.
The main theme seems to draw its focus on the strains and tribulations of living together in close proximity.
Which is very fitting when you consider the whole waking up in the same room that you will be recording in nature of this album.
This song was intended to be the album opener and this is the first time it has seen the light of day.

Program note: 
I have always found comfort in poetry. While in school, I was the guy with a collection of Bukowski under one arm and a collection 
of Yeats under the other. I have always enjoyed the rhythm of other people’s thoughts and feelings.

In the winter of 2009, my wife and I experienced a heartbreak that left me unsure of how to even breathe, let alone grieve. 
On March 1st, 2009, I found a copy of W.S. Merwin’s, The Shadow of Sirius, and I began to feel myself heal. I have almost no idea 
what most of this poetry means. But I know that it fills me with a profound sadness that is, at the same time, brimming with hope.
I recently heard Mr. Merwin discussing the origin of the title of his collection. He related that scientists have discovered that the star 
known as Sirius is actually a star system. What looks to our eye like a single object is actually many. Merwin found himself 
wondering what is on the other side of Sirus, lying in its shadow.
A friend once said to me, “many concerti explore a virtuosity of technique but not many explore a virtuosity of expression.” It was 
with that thought in mind that I began work on my, The Shadow of Sirius, for solo flute and wind orchestra.

Each movement offers my reflection on a single Merwin poem from the collection. Although the work is played without pause, the 
soloist plays unaccompanied solos to separates the individual movements. 

A consortium of American wind ensembles led by Michael Haithcock and the University of Michigan commissioned The Shadow of Sirius. The work is dedicated to the fantastic Amy Porter.
