Våren 2011 tog Alabama Moonshine Co. sina första trevande steg. Tanken var att sätta ihop en trio som spelade coverlåtar med förtecken  hämtade från country, honky tonk och no depression.
Men längtan efter att skriva eget material tog över, och författandet tog fart. Låtar skrevs, fler bandmedlemmar ramlade in och under hösten 2012 blev AMC ett femmannaband.
Vintern 2012 spelades material in till en kommande ep. I februari 2013 släpptes två av dessa låtar som en digital singel.
Musiken har sina rötter i country och folk, samtidigt finns en tydligt elektrisk ådra närvarande. Med starka melodier och mörka texter hämtas inspiration från americanaland, och man anar även stänk av blues, rock och pop.
AMC har på kort tid hunnit bli ett uppskattat liveband på hemmaplan i Malmö. På scenen levererar bandet spelningar med både hjärta, värme och en hel del jävlaranama!!

Nu släpper AMC den digitala singeln Mr. Alabama Moonshine Man/When You Walk Through The Door - en försmak av deras kommande EP, som beräknas släppas under våren 2013.

So who is Martin Emess? I'm a Swedish producer and DJ currently based in Berlin, Germany. This is where I gather my inspiration and produce my music, plan future SNTX events and experiment in the studio with new ways of how to craft and perform music. My immense fascination and curiosity for technology and ever learning mentality have been vital assets to learning the ropes of the craft. Being a sucker for computers ever since I can remember definitely has helped. Although the path to walk wasn’t always clear to me and eager to learn how different genres were made, I produced everything from hip-hop to techno and even pop. Many lessons were learnt during the years which sparked new ideas and approaches, ever evolving, until I found my primary calling in electronic music. However I still enjoy producing hip-hop as it is such a big part of my life. Today the different building blocks work together to deliver what I feel is my own sound creating music for the four seasons. My productions tend to stay on the darker, more emotional side with a hint of anxiety but often also hope and a longing for better days.

2013 was the year I began to put in work to establish myself as a underground DJ in Malmö, Sweden, and this is also where I steadily got more attention for my work as a DJ, producer and club promoter. This was also the year one of my tracks got picked up by Element Recordings marking my debut signing ‘Another Dimension' that was later released in 2014. With my almost obsessed passion for music and new inspiring projects I saw myself as the founder and co-founder of some of the most popular underground clubs in Malmö which ushered in a new wave of fresh ideas until I branched out and started my own concept, SNTX, to fill a void that I felt existed in the local scene.

In 2015 I left Sweden and moved to Berlin and this also marked the year where I came to realization that my darker and rougher style needed it's own moniker to create a distinct, and easier to understand, separation between the sub genres I love and as to not throw off any potential listeners who might have enjoyed just one of the styles.
And thus Rasa1 was born in the streets of Kreuzberg.
