¿Hasta que punto, nuestro inconsciente hace cosas por imitación? [sin darse cuenta], un comportamiento, una ideología, una canción, arte...

Vivimos inmersos en un mundo de devoración activa, tanto material como energética, donde para encajar, parece ser indispensable, la constante comparación; ¿Crees que lo piensas provino de ti?...el como te comportas, lo qué haces, incluso el cómo creas cosas nuevas ,tal vez sean los límites arbitrarios de alguien más, resonando en tu mente, en la mente. 

Según el budismo zen todas las cosas tienen una esencia y esa esencia es lo que  el Sumie, el Grafismo Chino, el Shodo intentaba alcanzar por los monjes de 1495 en un solo trazo, dejando que el cuerpo se mueva por la energía misma. 

En este sentido “Trascender, la dualidad” se expresa de la misma manera, representando una antítesis del modo de producir música hoy en día, aspirando a ser este trabajo, un álbum conceptual (como el trabajo “4:33” de John Cage) ya que los tracks incluidos en esta obra fueron extraídos directamente del Live Act de la re-Musicalización de la película “2001: A Space Odyssey” de Stanley Kubrick, creada por Primordial Om en el 2020. 

Los tracks son una improvisación musical en vivo [Tocada y creada en tiempo real], inspirada en los últimos fotogramas de la obra hermética, maestra de Kubrick, siguiendo su enseñanza simbólica esotérica y metafísica la obra expresa este aprendizaje tanto en el nombre de las canciones, en el nombre del LP, como su forma de creación e intención, a la vieja usanza de la expresión divina del arte/meditación “Sumie”

Así como el arte meditativo de los monjes se plasma en un solo trazo, incorregible e imborrable, “Trascender, la Dualidad” nace en un solo movimiento, accionado por el mismo trance activo/pasivo de la energía divina contenida natural y esencialmente en cada uno de nosotros. 

Trascendiendo así la dualidad inherente de este mundo, filtrando cualquier contenido, entre rivalidades: bueno-malo, antiguo-contemporáneo, auditivo-visual, imitativo-no imitativo, interesante-no interesante, negro-blanco, etc, dejando solo así lo esencial.

Cómo fue exhaustivamente complicado pedir remixes de piezas que no contienen stems, quise hacer este ejercicio y tome como influencia los soundtracks de películas que hablan e intentan descodificar temas del espíritu; tome de inspiración la sabiduría plasmada de: 

Brazil 
Ghost in The Shell 
The matrix 
1984 

E hice una reversión de estos temas, los pueden escuchar a partir del track 8-10 (Estos tracks si fueron echos in the box y de una manera más tradicional, del cómo se hace música tradicionalmente) 

Es interesante resaltar que el álbum completo también está influenciado por la sabiduría de Stanley Kubrick y Carlos Castaneda

‘Flowers of the Revolution’ is the new album from Nahash. 7 original tracks, including a collaboration with Osheyack, plus remixes from Elvin Brandhi featuring Kanja from Duma, Gabber Modus Operandi and DJ Plead

‘The album was written while researching and reading about the role that the US played in installing dictators in central and south America. The harsh and industrial sounds I used as a way to talk about what happens when the harsh reality of neo-liberalism takes over a country that could do very well without it.

I was reading and watching documentaries about Haiti and Cuba and trying to imagine what those countries would be without any western influence.
