This time, I flipped a funky sample, laid down some hard-hitting drums, and brought in the voice of one of the greatest to ever do it: Big Pun. His flow was unmatched, his presence undeniable, and his impact on hip-hop? Legendary.

I’ve always had a deep respect for DITC and the raw, unfiltered energy they brought to the game. Pun was a true lyricist, a master of wordplay, and an artist who left us way too soon. This remix is my way of paying tribute to his legacy while keeping that classic New York sound alive.

As always, this one comes straight from the heart, and straight from OFA Music Group—a space where passion, culture, and hip-hop’s golden era live on. 🎶✨

еред вами первый альбом Касты. Именно его мы, будучи 19–20 летними пацанами, растиражировали на кассетах, на деньги, занятые у родителей, предварительно сфотографировавшись всей бандой для обложки. Этими кассетами торговали все точки Ростова, а скоро их уже и пиратили. Год мы таскали рюкзаки, набитые кассетами, и раздаривали их всем, кто хоть каким-то боком связан с какими-то старшими рэперами, со звукозаписывающими компаниями, клубами, радио, фестивалями, журналами и т.п.Мы чувствовали себя единственными посвященными. Мы постигли, что такое настоящий хип-хоп, и мы гордо несли это знамя и эти рюкзаки…
Мы сочиняли «Трехмерные Рифмы» с 96-го, и в некоторых песнях проявлялись совсем ещё юношеские умонастроения. В том возрасте в вопросах, о чем говорить, как читать, как сочинять музыку было очень много неопределенности. Поэтому у нас было несколько точек опоры: проводимые нами клубные hip-hop party, наша приверженность Wu-Tang Clan и East Coast, ростовская пацанячая борзость и самоуверенность, «психолирика» как желание отображать в стихах какие-то скрытые движения души, и домашний компьютер, очень слабый, но которого хватало, чтоб набивать музыку и записывать в него голос. И в итоге получались совершенно необычайные вещи.

Этот альбом прорвал российскую глушь, он поразил москвичей, уже выпускавших какие-то свои рэпы на кассетах. Слухи о Касте и Трехмерных Рифмах распространялись быстро, хотя Интернета ещё не было, вернее это было большой экзотикой (для самых продвинутых либо самых очкастых). Через пол года мы уже выступали в Москве на фестивале Rap Music 99, на котором победили, и «Трехмерные Рифмы» уже пиратили на Горбушке, что считалось большим почетом.
Изначально все наше движение называлось Кастой. И когда нас перевалило за двадцать человек, мы решили, что вся шайка будет называться Объединенной Кастой, а в Касте останутся те, кто были с самого начала. «Трехмерные Рифмы» были выпущены в то время, когда вся тусовка пока ещё называлась Кастой, хотя по сути, этот альбом — от Объединенной Касты.
