The Story Behind the TAILORS,

The Tailors is a producing and performing DJ duo
based in The Hague, the Netherlands.
There style is described as funky tech-house with a twist of soul.

Bastiaan & Jesse met during high school at age 15. They discovered that they both shared a passion for music and creating it. The love for different styles of music helped them find their own. 

Bastiaan was born on the 12th of July in 1989. At the age of 13 his parents bought him “Magix Music Maker” and this is when he started making songs with loops and samples. During this period he learned playing the drums and started experimenting with DJ-ing and producing. 
After finishing high school he went to the SAE in Amsterdam where he finished the Music Production Course. 

Jesse was born on the 17th of May in 1990. Jesse has always been interested in music, especially since his parents both were DJ’s in their younger years. At young age he learned mixing and had great interest in latin influenced music because of his Surinam roots.

Their fame started with funky remixes of classics from artists such as
Tracy Chapman, George Benson, The Whispers and many more.
They created their own style, which is deep, uplifting and funky.
The Tailors daily produce new original tracks for the world to enjoy.
They have performed in Paris, Cannes, Ibiza, Madrid, Monaco, India, Sao Paulo and many more places all over the world.

ARTNAM was born as Dave Mantra. Based in Ibiza since adolescence, introduces his energy and good musical taste quickly emerging in small clubs and after parties, as well as several clubs including Guarana, Eden, Zoo Project and Sankeys, B12, Factory, Lío, Heart, Pacha, Amnesia, DC10
He collaborates with Gasoline Records (Milan IT), Elastic Beats (Brooklyn NY), Bondi Beach Radio (Sidney AUT) Pactchtwork (Firenze IT), Humatron (Piemonte IT), Ibiza Global Radio (ESP), Pure Ibiza Radio (ESP).
In 2016 his sound conquered Ibiza Global Radio, which dedicates a weekly space for his radioshow “Botswanaghana” also giving him the opportunity to play in the legendary Amnesia Terrace, for the 25th Anniversary of IbizaDanceRadioshow.
2017 sees him start a new collaboration with Unusual Suspect (one of the best parties on ibiza’s scene ) at the Sankeys, continuing his summer residency in Guarana with the party “Avanti”and become one of the resident dj of the festivities sponsored for Game Over, including “Space in The Park”.
After his debut with the Game Over team, 2018 begins with a great success: the new party “One Night Stand”, where he performs alongside high-caliber artists (such as the iconic Carl Cox) in Pacha and DC10.
Confirmed and consolidated commitments in 2019, Botswanaghana@IbizaGlobalRadio, Avanti@IbizaPureRadio and One Night Stand with the Game Over Group in Heart,Pacha ,DC10, Cafe del Mar and Zoo Project with Cassy, Tania Vulcano, Dan Ghenacia, tINI, Sonja Moonear, Enzo Siracusa, Shonky, Archie Hamilton, Ferro,ecc. also participates in the novelty of the summer, the “WildChild” (pure ‘90 style, always sponsored bGame Over) at Heart and also appears in the lineup of Lift parties at Lío.

At the end of 2022 he starts his own party “HAZE” at NUI Club Ibiza with DJ’s as Gescu and Sublee.

At the beginning of 2023 as an interior and musical evolution, he changes its name to ARTNAM.  As well as the name of his Radioshow to ASED.  His next project will be his own Label.
