Max Q consisted of Michael Hutchence (INXS) (vocals and songwriting) and Ollie Olsen (Whirlywirld) (songwriting and production), who were accompanied by key members of the post-punk scene in Melbourne, Australia; most of whom had previously collaborated with Olsen. The project followed on from Hutchence and Olsen's work on the film, Dogs in Space, where they had first met.

Max Q released its sole self-titled album in 1989 and had minor hits with the songs "Way of the World" and "Sometimes". The album was certified gold in Australia, and was the 93rd highest-selling album of 1989 in Australia. Max Q was less successful in other countries. The album is no longer in print and has never been re-issued. The band never performed any live shows.

Claudio Malz is an up-and-coming DJ and music producer 
Claudio’s journey into the world of electronic music began in his early years. Born and raised in Argentina, Claudio was exposed to music from a young age. With a natural ear for rhythm and melody, he gravitated towards electronic music during his teenage years, particularly the sounds of house and techno that were shaping the global dance music scene.

Inspired by the groove-driven sounds of tech house and deep house, Claudio began experimenting with production software, learning the intricacies of music production and sound design. His passion for dance music and the energy of the club scene led him to develop a sound that would eventually become synonymous with his name: deep, infectious grooves, and punchy basslines paired with catchy vocal chops and dark, minimalistic elements.

Born In NYC and was given the best gift ever. The Power of Music. Grew up in Union City Nj. Which was 5 min ride to NYC. During the 80's we had the best Music. I was given the blessing of listening to House, Salsa, Freestyle,Hip Hop, High Energy,Disco.I was Lucky enough to learn how to Dj with classmates and some friends. I had many different opportunities to also learn from some great Dj's from Little louie Vega, Kenny Dope Gonzalez, Red Alert, Eric Morillo, & Tony Humphries who i worked for under The Record Label Yellorange Records. Then of course was the clubs, 1018, Red Zones, Mars, The World,The Loft,The Palladium,The Underground so many to name. I also lived in Germany for 5 years playing anywhere and to any who was willing to listen. I always try to play music a different way and put my own spin on some tracks.
