Clementine’s Party is a spectacle dreamed up by songwriter and vocalist Adelaide Tai. Born in Atlanta and now based in LA, the project evolves as a blend of dream pop and folk.

I am a poet and performance artist starting to experiment with music and sound. My poetry and art explore the emotion and humanity of pain and suffering. I love the work of artists like Thao & the Get Down Stay Down, Audre Lorde, Warsan Shire, Saul Williams, FKA Twiggs, Portishead, Tori Amos, Janelle Monae, MIA, and Mayda. I am also intrigued by the Korean art form of Pansori and the idea of incorporating the essence of its elements in my work.
