We are super excited to present the 143rd episode from K-H1!

Resident of @resurrection_berlin, @figments - K-H1 is a music project by Berlin-based Sergey Barinov in collaboration with Luke Mombrea. K-H1’s vision is to be boundary-pushing: weaving together pulsating rhythms and striking, tripped-out soundscapes to create a tight, yet distinct techno sound.

His sets mirror his bold production style. Oscillating between dark, vibrant, and cinematic themes underlined by heavy, driving grooves, he invites listeners to embark on a hypnotic journey together.

K-H1’s releases have garnered recognition and support from influential figures, and have graced venues such as Berghain, RSO, Bassiani, and Smolna38. Quickly establishing a unique presence on the techno scene, K-H1 is one to watch.

Duplicity 143 | K-H1

Championing a sound both rugged and trance-inducing, Porto-based Brazilian producer Marcal clocks in this week with two hours blending future-proof warehouse rave material and claustrophobic 4x4 maneuvers. Hot on the heels of his latest ’Nature of the Future’ EP on Donato Dozzy and Neel’s imprint Spazio Disponibile, Marcal takes us on a mind-bending ride down raucous sine-scapes and brooding, verbed-out atmospheres, constantly pushing the envelope of techno as can be experienced these days. Resuming its course as a means for transcending our (currently much gloomy) zeitgeist, techno here gets back on its revolution-friendly tracks, finding its second breath as a metamorphic tool for blazing new paths and routes towards a better, more intelligently designed world. There goes a mix that summons the very finest of Marcal’s boundary-pushing vision and killer knack for crafting memorable and emancipatory floor narratives. Brace yourselves.

Having shared stages with many industry heavyweights over the years, Ramsey's DJ sets are a masterclass in rhythm and groove, keeping the dance floor locked in from start to finish. Along with his artist project, Ramsey runs Brooklyn-based record label and collective, IMPULSE CØNTROL, which just had its third release, as well as curated showcases in Berlin, Amsterdam, and NYC.

OPH is a French-born DJ and producer based in Berlin, recognized for his dedication to vinyl and his deep connection to the city’s techno culture. His journey began in Lyon, where he was active as a music journalist and ran a webzine focused on the local scene. In 2014 he moved to Berlin, a decisive step that allowed him to immerse himself in the city’s clubs and to start playing regularly.

Over the years, OPH has shaped his sound through record digging and a broad musical background, channeling these influences into sets that balance intensity and emotion. This approach has brought him to play acclaimed closing sets at Berghain and RSO.

Beyond his solo work, he performs alongside his close friend Chami in their Face 2 Face project. Together they have played at iconic venues such as Berghain, Bassiani and Womb in Japan.

In recent years, OPH has also turned to music production, adding a new layer to his artistic journey and opening the way for future projects that reflect his ever evolving vision.

Back on August 30th, the Motion Room at Fuse became a canvas for AgainstMe’s storytelling. Characterized by physical intensity, the set moved through hypnotic ambiance, a dub focus with patient tension, and saturated textures. He played the tone right for that night, with a selection paving the way perfectly for Psyk and Orbe, who carried the narrative forward in their own voices. In retrospect, the moment will stand as a reference point for deep journeys ahead. Beyond metrics, beyond measure, capturing what this kind of sound truly brings to the dancefloor.

The third collaborative EP sees Clergy boss, Cleric, team up with French artist Kmyle. On remix duties is Blueprint label owner, James Ruskin, in what is a perfect way to conclude the final chapter in this series of five releases (CRG011 - 015). The ‘Empty Shells EP’ is due for release April 12th.

‘Empty Shells’ offers an unusually stripped back approach, concentrating on the raw modular rhythm that carries the track. Ruskin then offers his own perspective, adding sparse percussion and different synth elements to offer a driving counterpart to the original.

The flip side starts with ‘Vostrax’, a strong, powerful production that teases you with acidic elements that breathe in and out of solid rhythmic, distorted drums. For the final track of the EP ‘Televised’ slows things down in tempo, but still offers a hard hitting edge.
