@psichedelic: thank you so much!!! honestly i dont know the name of one album of primal scream and never was a fan, they just went under my radar. my main influences were brian jonestown massacre, ty segall and pixies to name a few. i really appreaciate your listening and im glad you like it! keep your great work up too, you have a truly fine sensor for psychedelic vibes!!!

I uploaded Bitter before but in my opinion this Bitter is better.
I wrote and played it on the 1st January 2023.

I have loved The Happy Somethings since I first heard them when in Azerbaijan about 6 years ago.  We share the philosophy that if we try harder it sounds worse!  I am pleased and honoured that they spontaneously decided to colloborate and be my "ramshackle"  backing band on this song!  a bit like with Buddy Holly's apartment tapes, only I think Buddy's were better before...and Buddy was never bitter.

track 1 – bass guitar and drums / track 2 – piano / track 3 – flute (keyboard) / track 4 – vocals 

I busted out my old yamaha psr300m for this track.  there is something about that keyboard.  i have had it for 20 years.  it is just fun to bang on.

the vocals and keyboard parts are brand new…just recorded them the other day, the bass and drums I recorded a few months ago.  it might be the bass line that I am most proud of.  I got lucky when I recorded it…don’t know that I could play it as well again :)

the lyrics (and melody) are a reworking of an experimental piece i released a year ago.  the original version only used a short guitar loop, and I had always wanted to redo it with more instruments.
