miniMel’s innate ability to connect and respond to the crowd is truly their greatest strength as a selector. Taking inspiration from their own mixed heritage, miniMel’s sets feature diverse sounds with a global influence. 

Quickly making a name for themself in East London and beyond by serving iconic sets at Body Movements, Dalston Superstore, Warm-Up; including unique live vocal DJ performances at esteemed venues like Notting Hill Arts Club and Electrowerkz. Plus international festival performances in Basel, Switzerland and Chengdu, China.

miniMel is passionate about celebrating emerging femxle and LGBTQ+ talent, recently launching ‘UPLYFT’, a radio show on Voices, platform and community dedicated to uplifting underrepresented groups in dance music.

miniMel believes strongly in the healing powers of dance-floors, understanding them as sacred spaces for us to let go, discover different parts of ourselves, and connect to something larger. Channeling this energy into their own productions, 2024 will see their debut release as they explore their sound, freely expressing different parts of their identity.
