Born in the Deep South of Africa, Clive Bixby was never one to to follow the mainstream. His strong faith and Baptist upringing have influenced his music from an early age. He forged his skills on the church stage. Rumour has it that he gave his life to Jesus, and return an angel came down and tuned his guitar and he never played the same since then. The other kids would laugh at him while he sang the words to Kenny Roger songs, but he did not mind, cuz sometime you gotta know when to hold em'! Blues, Country, Gospel, Redneck Symphonies. Though there has been numerous member changes throughout the years, founders Gean Burrell and Dean Grobler have remained from the start, believing that each member has contributed something significant to what the band has now become. As each member came and went it seemed to take it's toll on the band. However, it instead brought about a sound unlike any other in S.A. The band is fulled with endless creativity, flare and hard work into every area of their music.

As they go, Show And Tell to this day remain one of the most entertaining acts around, and will continue to give all that they have, creating new and innovative music for fans to grasp hold of, songs that are hard to let go of, gripping and moving the listener. Surely, a band that will push as hard as they can to thrive in one of the toughest industries around; if anything, they have the guts to make it. Bio and Stuff:

A Lipstick Lumberjack, in the wild, lives with one foot in the forest and one in the city. 

Sam Sobelman had been collaborating with a number of Orange County artists, struggling trying to find a very particular sound. Nikki Coles had been singing with groups but had been writing songs that didn't fit the framework of their styles. The magic of the internet brought them together, and they immediately knew they had found the sounds they had been seeking. 

As Lipstick Lumberjack, the band, Sam Sobelman and Nikki Coles write songs that straddle the complex joys and sorrows of life in the city, and the serenity of life outside city walls. Through their folky pop and rock, they explore life's highs and lows, and the in-betweens. They have written an album, to be released sometime in 2014.
