Loonaloop Bio 2017
With 12 European tours under their belt Loonaloop have been tagged  the “Globe trotting troubadours of cosmic electronica.” As a live electronic act, Loonaloop’s standout attraction is in their selection of unique instrumentation.  Weaving powerful vocals, violin that dances between hair-raising melodies to dirty & driving lines, pumping didgeridoo riffs and dynamic live drums enhanced with programming & electronic gismos.  
Loonaloop’s live set mixes it up with touches of drum n bass, tribal trance, world music, electro dub and gypsy house.  Executed with a high-octane engaging performance, Loonaloop have earnt a reputation as dance floor and festival favorites. With the release of their 5th Album in July 2017 Loonaloop have a huge pool of tracks to draw from and the ability to respond intuitively to diverse audiences. 
The core of Loonaloop, Shiney Lefai & Andy Byrnes, emerged out of U.K live trance band "Tribal Drift" which was a pioneering act in the early 90’s London and U.K live Trance music scene...and was  at the very head of introducing didjeridoo into dance music. After returning to Aus., in 2003, they started a new project "Loonaloop” diversifying into multi genres of dance music.
Ever since the Loonaloop tribe have toured all over the globe, playing some of the finest festivals out there.  Invited back 7 times to the world-renowned Glastonbury Fest in U.K they have also done a variety of festivals including Dance Valley (NL), Tribal Elek (France), Didj n Bass (Austria), Heart Festival (Austria) and numerous in Germany, Italy, Slovakia, Scotland, UK, Poland and more.
