Release Radar Archive - 3

Any artist is welcome to send us a track via freshonthenet.co.uk anytime between Monday lunchtime and Wednesday evening (or when we receive 200 submissions, whichever is sooner) - and all our moderators, including Tom Robinson, will listen to every track. This is our full inbox from the week beginning Mon 24th November 2025: from Friday afternoon you'll be able to hear our shortlist and pick your favourites on this week's Listening Post which will appear at freshonthenet.co.uk/batch591

If a track you submitted does not appear in this list, it’s probably because another of your tracks appeared in our Fresh Faves or on the BBC Music Introducing Mixtape during the last three months — we ask that artists featured on either wait three months before resubmitting to give others a chance. 

We also don’t accept short previews or SoundCloud Go tracks that can only be heard as 30 second previews, and tracks made private after submission, which cannot be included in playlists. You will be able to resubmit the track in future. Tracks (and remixes of tracks) that have been previously submitted, and tracks from banned artists will also be removed.

Christmas songs and the like are also not eligible for the Listening Post, although we will collect these into a playlist that will be published on 24 December.

'No Cages' is my third album, and my first in seven years. 

It features the singles 'Simple Life' and 'Incomplete'.

It is my first collection of predominantly animal rights songs and covers topics such as intensive chicken farming, toxic masculinity, humane-washing / greenwashing, and the perception of vegans by a non-vegan world. The project also covers other themes such as loss and loneliness, how technology is disconnecting us from the real world, escaping from the human race, and the beauty of the ground beneath our feet.

It has been a labour of love, taking over two years to complete, delayed by various set-backs, most noticeably damage to my vocal chords. 

The album features over 40 contributors from across the world, including Vegan Queen V, Liz Mitchell (Terrorvision), Ian Haywood, Giles Bryant, and Chaos Collective (Blur). It was recorded at Half-ton Studios in Milton by Neil Rogers, mastered by Pete Maher (U2, Pixies), and features artwork by Tom Jones.

Dreaming

An evocative and uplifting quick-boost of a track.

This is my first song in Romanian, which is half of my heritage. It's a song about identity, and part one of a forthcoming trilogy. 

An early version of the track is part of the fund-raising album "Mitra Music for Nepal" produced by Annie Hogan (Marc Almond). It is also the soundtrack to the short film "Coming Home". 

The title translates as "I'm Romanian".

Lylo Land is a poetically woven sonic story about Lylo Gold's transition and growth. Within this sonic soundscape of live instrumentation and conversational lyricism, Lylo explores all realms of relationships, identifying her own vulnerabilities and celebrating her individual growth. The EP follows the story of Lylo learning to let go, exploration and travel and finally landing at Lylo Land, a space of true self love and acceptance. This epilogue provocatively explores who she is, and is accompanied by a 3 part documentary which depicts her story and her metamorphosis beautifully.

“In Our 20s” is an energetic pop-rock anthem, capturing the beauty and chaos of our twenties, a decade of choices, mistakes, and growth. With driving guitars and emotional depth, it celebrates youth and hope. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios with outstanding producer and sound engineers Lev Shteinberg and Aleksander Tomaszkiewicz from Abbey Road Institute.
