There have been many highs and lows, but what kept us going was the true passion for honest house and techno and always trying to push forward! This release features three of my tracks as well as a remix from techno OG Joey Beltram. Pianeti Sintetici presents AI-37, entitled ‘Space Opera’. Conceived by Italian artist Davide Perrone, the Pianeti Sintetici (“Synthetic Planets”) project hypothesises the creation of future synthetic worlds as told through sound. Although split across two parts, the album is a singular organism that narrates a journey of boundless cosmic exploration. A sonic tapestry woven of intergalactic atmospheres, Space Opera’s imaginative sound design contributes to a richly spatial and haptic experience.

Taking place in the dimly lit crevices of deepest space, a swirling pool of chemical abstractions and extraterrestrial transmissions spumes out from the darkness. Elements weave through broad washes of drones and scintillating textures, contrasting a sparse backdrop with dense and multilayered passages. Composed with the use of modular synthesisers and intense audio manipulations, ‘Space Opera’ comes to life as an entity that transports the listener on an immersive journey into the mysteries of alien worlds.

A vital force in shaping the Neapolitan techno identity since 2001, AnalyticTrail now takes a new step in its evolution with the release of Radici. Markantonio, the label’s founder and one of Italy’s most influential techno figures, makes a striking return to the forefront. This release doesn’t just mark his comeback to vinyl, it reflects a renewed connection to his roots and a forward-thinking vision that continues to drive the underground movement.

Opening with Welcome to Disco, the A-side sets the tone with an infectious rhythm, pulsating basslines, and shimmering synths that light up the floor with hypnotic flair. Rising Dutch talent Isaiah delivers a bold reinterpretation with his Rework, injecting a darker, more driving edge layered with brooding atmospheres and relentless percussion. On the B-side, the title track Radici dives deeper into tribal-infused territory, blending hypnotic loops with raw percussive energy, while Groover rounds out the EP with a stripped-back, minimalist roller designed for late-night momentum.

Turkey’s Procombo debuts on CLR with the ‘Upscale’ EP

Istanbul’s Procombo arrives on Chris Liebing’s CLR for the first time, dropping the two-track ‘Upscale’ EP 18th July 2025. The title track sees the RX boss deploy a nimble and precise cut that, despite its heavyweight low-end punch, glides smoothly over evolving synth loops. It’s muscular, meticulous, and perfectly engineered intensity.

'Be Alive' is a rolling juggernaut of a track built for shadowy warehouses and heads-down moments. Dystopian sirens wail through the mix like warning signals amidst flickering neon ruins. There’s a constant sense of unease, a creeping tension that builds and builds brilliantly, closing out a package already supported by the likes of Peder Mannerfeldt, Emerald, and Elisa Bee.

Procombo has been a pillar of his native Istanbul scene since the mid-90s, as a DJ, producer, and label head of RX Recordings, an offshoot of the influential former RX Istanbul club he helmed. He's well known in heady Techno circles for his work on Radio Slave’s Rekids label, Planet Rhythm, and now Chris Liebing's legendary CLR.

Founded by Techno pioneer Chris Liebing in 1999 and relaunched in 2021 after a five-year break, CLR has featured heavyweights like Shlomi Aber, Dubfire, Flug, and Bjarki, while championing rising talents including Risa Taniguchi and Klint.

13. Virus - Sun (Man With No Name Mix)

Wa (和) - which means "harmony". “Wa” is the oldest recorded name for Japan, and occurs in several ancient Chinese texts. However, the Chinese used a different kanji for this name: 倭. Unfortunately, this character also has the rather unflattering meaning of “dwarf”, and not surprisingly the Japanese didn’t like it. Sometime in the 8th century they decided to switch 倭 for 和 which had the same pronunciation, but the much more pleasing meaning of “harmony”.
