Today is a special one in the Delayed world as we’re overjoyed to premiere a tune from the second release on our label, Never Late. The culmination of many months of work, the release day is rapidly approaching, and we could be none the happier. For our second musical guest, we look to Basel-based artist Mjulev and his intimate album titled ‘Clouds Are The Better Birds’. Spanning 8 tracks, Mjulev guides listeners gently into his auditory psyche as he states about the album, 

"Clouds are the better birds - It becomes clear only through observing the clouds how slowly they float up there, so detached from everything that drives us down here. Truly liberated from the forward push and the hustle and bustle, from left to right, from branch to branch, always on guard, not to be accidentally eaten by a cat.

They just float, sometimes darker, sometimes lighter, sometimes faster, sometimes slower. When they meet, they merge and then continue floating as if they had always been one. Looking up feels so timeless. A longing that cannot be satisfied down here. It is omnipresent, but sometimes I manage, just for brief moments, but these are enough to understand what it would be like to be a cloud.

The special thing about the album for me is that it was not created in situations where I was a bird. It was created in moments where I had the headspace to be a cloud, and if it helps others to be like a cloud even just for a short time, then it was worth it, because these moments have become very rare.”

Our premiere, ‘Birds On Acid’ is the final track on the release, a rhythmic come-down that tugs at the heartstrings. Evoking a sense of finality and completeness. The plucks and textures play well with each other, complimenting both the analog fuzz and bright synths. Key features of the entire release.

Birds On Acid, as well in turn, ‘Clouds Are The Better Birds’ will be released on April 12th, so stay tuned.

London based label Natural Selection present their forthcoming release in the form of a 4-track 12" EP, courtesy of Annie Hall, entitled "Atomic 20", ft. remixes from label affiliates Plant43 & Kodah.

Born in Madrid, Annie Hall has been heavily active on the Electronica, IDM and Detroit circuits since 2007 and has seen her music released by the most highly esteemed of Electro labels such as Central Processing Unit, Delsin Records, 20/20 Vision, Detroit Underground, Semantica & more. She returns to Natural Selection, after releasing on 3 previous occasions since the label's inaugural release in 2021. Her track 'Panax Ginseng' (NS001) gained support from some of the most respected DJ's and producers worldwide, inc. Dave Clarke, The Advent, NULLPTR & more.

Atomic 20 is a beautifully crafted Electro release that maintains venomous aggression, amidst breathtaking textures and ambience. Hypnotic pads spiral into the ether, contrasted alongside heavy kicks, deep bass and meticulously programmed percussion patterns. Annie's eclectic and uniquely experimental style is fully evident throughout, taking the listener on an unpredictable, emotional journey, whether at home or on the dance floor.

The B side of the release features two well-placed, club-focussed remixes of each original A side tracks; B1 courtesy of Electro legend Plant43 (@plant43), with his immaculate remix of 'Goji Berry'. B2 courtesy of Natural Selection label head Kodah (@kodah), with his virtuosic and powerful remix of 'Atomic 20'.

Natural Selection are well known for bridging the heavier spectrum of Techno, Electro, IDM, Acid, etc. with new, experimental style and form. One can always expect the most cutting-edge, hard-hitting, underground electronics via their releases and also their regular label nights, which have gained notoriety for daring lineups and extreme diversity in sound. After forming a close connection to Natural Selection in recent years, Annie has now cemented herself as one of the main front-line artists within the London based imprint.

Hi Electro Techno lovers.

This is bunkerlau live dj set 007.

@garmen_onnura is one of Iñigo Garmendia's aliases. Born in 1986 in Legorreta, Gipuzkoa, Basque Country.
From that early age he attended clubs like Sound and Azkena, where he began to become more interested in techno.
Over the years and with his first salary, he was able to buy his own equipment and start mixing in his own place.
A clubber from a very young age, he began to run clubs such as Itzela, Txitxarro, Pagoa, Jam, Tartufo, among others.
Always looking for something different from the usual venues, he was greatly influenced by the Sala Txillaut in Itzela at the beginning.
With references like Ima and Trampas, a sound universe that he did not know opened up.
Later he was greatly influenced by venues such as GoJam, with Balza as a reference, Pagoa venue with Demian and Txillaut de Txitxarro with Ima and Trampas as well.
Over the years he was able to make his debut at the Sala Tartuto alongside someone he considers a very important person in his humble career, like Ibailo.
Who over the years gave him the opportunity to perform in Txillaut and Pagoa.
Over the years he shaped his own musical criteria and had the opportunity to perform in the aforementioned, Tartufo, Txitxarro, Pagoa and also in Sala Revolution, Inox, Txalintxo, Lokotx,...
For a few years he dedicated himself to hosting parties in the town where he lives, more precisely in the Mallutz Room.
He was also able to participate in the first edition of the Bergako Electronika Topaqueta (BET). In the beginning he was also able to perform for Egroove Radio (Hamburg) thanks to another of his great references and British legend Peter Ryan.
He was also able to develop his own radio program Psyco Delicias, on Nosuti Radio (Madrid) after developing as a DJ, his sound evolved to this day.
Today he moves between Techno, Industry, Ebm and Electro. He was also able to make appearances on Desguaze Music TV and more recently on Intergalactic Fm.
Submerged together with his partner Beñat Gutiérrez, they created Denoted Music, an individual platform where Streamings are made and music is published.
