From the water I observe how he makes each choice; he carefully picks the best vinyl possible, like a harvester does as he plucks the sweetest grapes before putting them in the barrel. He blows the miniscule specks of pollen away, but the static electricity doesn’t make it an easy task. People go back and forth on the swings that hang from the majestic plane trees and dirty feet engage in tribal dancing. I've been talking to the water for 25 hours and I don't want the journey to end."

André Pahl (@andrepahl)(Berlin) is known for his Safari mixes—pitched down cinematic journeys through uncharted seas, forbidden deserts and distant galaxies. His sound tends to oscillate between psychedelic trips, spaced out electronics and voodoo percussion, exploring the slowed-down heartbeat of danceable music. Listening to André Pahl’s sets is like being compelled to push yourself inside a forest even though you know it'll be dangerous — head first, then the whole body, submerged deep into a strange jungle world, partly solid, partly made of shimmering liquids.

Aurion was born out of a reversed creative process – instead of building the foundation first, I let my random plonks take the lead. Five unique voices intertwine and rise together toward the end, like a phenomenon of light breaking through the dark.

It is both raw and unrefined, a piece where mechanical energy collides with dreamlike warmth – a hymn to the movement between chaos and harmony. Aurion became a pure release for my recent hectic days. When I finally found a quiet moment for myself this morning, it felt only natural to let it be released in its rawest form.
