Welcome to the 33th session of Blocaus podcast.   
We receive as guest : I Hate Models.

Pushed in front of the scene late in 2016 with his Warehouse Memories EP released on ARTS, "I Hate Models" has known an eye-popping ascent. With a variety of releases on labels such as ARTS, Voitax, T/W/B or Pls.uk, he is as eclectic in his productions as in his DJ sets, and navigates between Rave music, Industrial sounds, Post-Punk, Wave or EBMish productions. He tries to not limit himself to a specific genre, exploring all electronic universes, and succeeded to create a certain "touch" recognizable in his tracks, with an association between emotional synths and colder sounds. With an artistic line based on the expression of melancholia and intense emotions, his music can be characterized by a showdown between Love and Hate, Darkness and Light.

Set recorded at L'Antipode, Chevreuil 2 years birthday on March 25th 2017.

Next up in the Apogee series we have London based, French born DJ and live performer Similarch - a familiar face in the London circuit through his event series Cutter Club.

This 2hr set was recorded in one take at Corsica Studios in a private session and shuns 4x4 beats, instead taking you on an exploration through bass heavy breaks and lo-fi atmospherics.

His focus on experimental recordings mixed with heavy noise is only second to his meticulous production process, which seems to always be engrained in the exploration of sound and space.
