The 1982 slasher classic "The Slumber Party Massacre" follows a group of teenagers being followed, terrorized, and brutally murdered by a deranged killer with a 12 inch drill. Not much is known about the killer, in fact he's probably one of the most generic killers to come out of early 80's slashers, however his weapon of choice was enough to make a impression on me. Now this movie is not nearly as scary as I'm sure it was when it was first released 39 years ago, however I wanted to capture the atmosphere that the movie gives off today in 2021. A fun, campy, slasher full of all the clichés we love from the genre; boobs, guts, and doomed teenagers. It won't leave you shitting your pants but pull up to a friend's house with a case of beer, some weed and sit back and enjoy the good times laughing at all the ridiculous decisions that are made in this movie.
