To show that we stand for safety, peace and unity, residents and friends of Touch of Loft put together this diverse compilation to raise money for humanitarian help in Ukraine.

As we're witnessing some of the darkest events of our lifetimes it can be difficult and overwhelming to decide how to help. We believe offering any small amount of help is a difference worth making.

We'd like to thank all artists that contributed their music for this cause and Cirrus Audio for mastering this release.

His selection behind the decks delivers a relentless stream of sonic gut-kicks, bone-rattling subs, and resonating frequencies that make your nose tingle. 

Having previously performed and released music under the moniker, Guides, as well as forming one half of the duo, Lunakyn, Shere Khan harbours a sound that constantly pushes the envelope. His live sets combine the raw grit of his home-built modular synthesiser with euphoric pads, aerobic rhythms, and gooey acid lines. 

As co-founder of Extract the Motion, Guidone skilfully curated the dancefloor for the nascent party brand and provided a platform for other underground DJs to wreak havoc on the decks. As co-founder of Dialectic Recordings, his vision nurtures growth and renewal in Sydney’s underground music scene.

“Nebula” is the 4th track in the collaborative album, “The Percs of Being,” by the newly formed Sydney-based duo, Lunakyn. Featuring in the forthcoming debut release on Dialectic Recordings in early May, “Nebula” is a solo work by one half of Lunakyn, Christian Guidone aka Guides. From the beginning, the listener is greeted by lush, cloud-like pads and metallic textures that rapidly evolve, rise, and culminate into a thumping rhythm. Time-stretched breakbeats and gooey synth lines reverberate through the skull, mapping out an aural journey reminiscent of a particularly potent hit of acid.

This week, we have a mix from Guides, fresh off the release of the debut album of his new collaborative project Lunakyn alongside another Mix Series alum Lex Barlin. 

After breaking into the scene over the last few years, Guides' style has continued to defy classification and refuses to be pigeon-holed into a single genre. In both his production as well as his exploits on the decks, he exhibits a myriad of influences from techno, breaks and leftfield, along with the sounds of world music. 

His recent album, The Percs of Being, released as part of the new label Dialectic Recordings created alongside Lex, is a testament to his technical prowess and creative versatility, and we can't wait to see what they have in store for us next.
