The new sound system is crisp and clear, and the warmth of the bass keeps us stomping on as the moon rises above us. The end of the set gets everyone into a haze, with some shedding a tear. If you ask anyone on the playa about DISTRIKT, they immediately smile and say, best day party on the playa! I am proud to be with a kamp of snarky folks who work hard to deliver a full bar 6 days a week and with a music line up that is always on point. I was on the build knew this year and now know a bit more of what it takes to get everything dialed in. A lot of blood, sweat, and middle fingers get this all done. There isn’t room for sensitive Sally’s and that’s why I fit in. I am most grateful for my involvement with DISTRIKT and this year I got to play on my Burnthday, Saturday, September 1st with so many of my awesome friends there with me. The crowd was gathering for my good friend, colleague, and badass DJ Ben Annand and I was ecstatic to follow his flow. I am very happy with this mix and I invite you to enjoy the journey of sounds and moods.

"After playing my debut chill set on the magical Chill Stage in 2018 I was thrilled to be invited back this year. Playing straight after my long time collaborator and good friend J-Slyde, whose set just after sunrise meandered through warm blissed out beats and trip-hop, I wanted to incorporate some of my favourite modern classical, some downtempo beats and even some warm melodic dubby beats. Some old tunes, some new, some familiar, some obscure, all inspiring to me at some point in my life. The smiling faces on the dance floor filled me with joy as I played this set to help kick off what was a brilliant Saturday of music at Rainbow Serpent. Enjoy xx"
