Berlin has long been regarded as one of the capital cities of techno and Berghain could be seen as the home stadium of the genre in Europe. If this analogy is accurate then Marcel Fengler would be one of the midfield playmakers. One of the first Berghain residents to ply his trade there since 2005 Marcel has crafted a career above reproach by being a truly versatile artist. 

Marcel is the real deal. His uncompromising DJ sets have long been stamped into the history books of Berlin techno and the fact that his first ever release was on Berghain’s in-house label Ostgut Ton really should tell you all you need to know. The unassuming German is most definitely not known for resting on his laurels and made the decision to focus on his already established imprint Index Marcel Fengler. 

It is this constant reinvention and re-imagination that keeps him at the top of his game and we are blessed to present an exclusive mix from the man himself. Since the mid 90’s Marcel Fengler has been blazing a trail and you can trace his dedication his craft in this very mix...

This man hardly needs an introduction. Jeroen Search embodies a clear and honest interpretation of techno music. Known for his genre defning inimitable sound and energetic performances as well as truly inspirational live-sets, he has always kept himself at the very edge of contemporary techno. Consistently releasing high quality music since the mid- nineties, Jeroen is always right at the sharp end of the techno-spectrum. This can be found in his releases on his own imprint Search, as well as on labels such as Axis, Token, KEY vinyl, and Figure, to name a few. While continually evolving, his music always remains true to that typical Search-sound. In 2021 Jeroen contributed music for a conceptual modern dance project for the famous Pinacoteca Museum in São Paulo, Brasil. He also took part in a theater show working with a choreographer, dancers and an video artist, performing his liveset combined with modern dance and visuals.

Dublin-based DJ/Producer Talinho is a firm purveyor of techno's deep, raw, and hypnotic side. artistically the young producer can flawlessly interweave vintage techno power with modern sound design and artistic flair to create something uniquely his. 

As a producer, he has had a string of independent releases this year alone, catching praise from artists such as Wetworks, DJ Prim, and Tommy Lewis. He has also been appearing regularly across Ireland's club scene at various club nights and most recently at this year's Fuinneamh festival. 

With one foot firmly in the club and the other in the studio, his approach to techno is refreshing and uncompromising. Get ready for a full-throttle, no-nonsense set meant for purists.

Stamina-testing and raw to the bone, her music runs the gamut from skull-crushing 4x4 obedience to muggy 303-riddled salvos, abrasive house rhythms and everything in between. Remaining true to the original spirit of the Detroit pioneers all the while computing the next winning equation that’ll make ravers lose their marbles in an utterly new fashion every time the needle hits the groove, Volvox keeps on blowing minds for a routine. After moving to Berlin in 2014, Amotik has been steadily building a base in the city that significantly inspired him. Starting in 2015 with a series of EPs on his self-titled imprint, he was soon regularly featured in the Groove Magazine and Resident Advisor monthly charts. Having developed a unique style of hypnotic/atmospheric techno with a relentless raw undertone, his consistency as both a DJ and producer has seen him perform at some of the most exciting clubs and festivals around the globe.
After 10 vinyl releases on his own label (and guest appearances on 47, Bpitch Control, Figure), late 2019 saw Amotik take on the most ambitious release to date – ‘Vistar’ (Hindi for expand/extended). The first full-length double vinyl LP on his label was also accompanied by a debut live tour to end the year.

Groove Magazine’s ‘Essential Albums’ and also earned Mixmag’s ‘Album of the Month’ title.
2020 sees Goethebunker and Amotik team up for ‘Adyant’. A new bi-monthly party at the renowned Essen venue. Adyant (Hindi meaning: ‘Beginning to End’) is a new series where Amotik will have the opportunity to curate and invite guests who have inspired his journey, as well as playing extended sets himself. The club is a long-standing mainstay in Essen, constructed from a former bomb shelter with a powerful function one sound system. The perfect setting to commence the Adyant series.
