Get ready! CODE Recordings is well chuffed to welcome USDNB sensation, FLACO back to the label with his 2024 release of Light Speed and Things You Do.  

Supported by legends like Fabio, Marky, Bryan Gee, Random Movement and many more, Flaco is fresh off the heels of his double EP pack ‘Four To The Floor’. A huge part of Stamina Sundays in San Francisco for several years, FLACO has previous releases on labels such as Shogun Audio, Liquid V, and Innerground Records. This will be his first single on CODE Recordings.  

Light Speed starts out with a beautiful soul forward synth that transforms into a ultra satisfying deep bassline at the drop which is sure to get the dancefloor ‘moving at the speed of light’ just as the silky and graceful vocal sample suggests. This versatile rhythm will fit perfectly into a variety of DJ sets with its timeless qualities and characteristics.  

Things You Do will grab you straight out of the gate, with its spectacular bright and futuristic vibe. The rolling bassline is sure to get the crowd grooving even more while the vocal samples ‘Things you do, baby’ and ‘Know what I mean’ complement one another like fluffy clouds and blue skies. This tune is sure to take the listener on a natural high.

Born in Konya in 1974. Acid house, 1987, was his first step into electronic music. He played at various local radio stations and parties between 1994-2005. Currently he does not actively play as a dj but he is a devoted follower of electronic music. He likes to play and listen to techno, dark techno,hard techno, drum&bass, jungle, drumfunk, hardstyle, gabber, speedcore, breakcore etc..

Rhobodub worked at the first Ukrainian vinyl shop Diskultura and was a part of the Kyiv house scene. Then Thommy moved to L’viv where became a member of the Hypnohouse parties. For his career, Rhobodub performed in 14 countries.

Nowadays, Thommy lives in Chernivtsi—the most architecturally graceful city in Ukraine—manages the Hustlers community and floats down through various dimensions of music: deep, minimal, afro, soulful and funky house; deep, dub, minimal tech house and techno; techstep, dubwise, liquid and soulful drum & bass; minimal dub, digital dancehall, roots reggae, etc.
