Release info: Helmut Ebritsch is best known for his work as one half of Klartraum, alongside partner in crime Nadja Lind as well as for his work as Hatikvah with vocalist Florian Schirmacher.
Helmut has been releasing since 1997 on labels like Soma, Darkroom Dubs and Sleep Is Commercial and wrote this tracks in Berlin using self built synths, effects and field recordings as well as an array of hardware.
Helmut Ebritsch & Friends is a perfectly programmed and seductively sequenced ride from start to finish. It takes you up and down in some style and his friends AKA AKA & Solee join him on this wild ride on Burlesque Musique.

With their first EP on Burlesque Musique, Funkbrainer & Kokenn seduce us into welcoming Summer. „L’ile“ is an island of harmonies and melodies, waves of synergic synths mount up to gigantic sound fountains. This island is colourful and playful, while „Desire“ draws us more into a melancholic and thoughtful atmosphere. On a solid bass construct, subdued bells ting in the distance while a more and more terse combination of synths build up an emphasis of an upbeat mood in the foreground.

Off the back of their top 10 all time highest selling release on the label ‘Sabale’, Rob & Jack return with their drum rolling, tech inspired club weapon ‘Do My Thing’.
Opening with kicks, hi hats and open cymbals, this track ascends during the intro, building in to what can only be described as a release of tension as the catchy hooky vocal take over, driving the record forward with a symphony of toms and metallic synths. Highly Sedated return to Steve Angello’s respected Size Records with their latest single, ‘Got Some Water’.

Titled ‘Got Some Water’, the track intros with dark synths, a strong bassline underpinning spoken lyrics. A dramatic breakdown leads into echoing sung sections, before the track’s climactic chorus. The expert production compliments the memorable lyrics.

Consisting of two vocalists, a photographer, art director and a producer, Highly Sedated aim to push the boundaries of electronic music by fusing elements of a traditional band in their approach to performance and production. An ode to the five-member band’s realization of their ‘existence’ to follow their passion of music, Highly Sedated is a result of a group of brother-like friends with a wide difference of musical backgrounds coming together. “We didn’t want to join the circus, so we created our own,” says the group.

Regarding the project, Steve Angello says, "I'm lucky to be involved and I'm excited to be the chosen one, it's very hard to find a group of friends that's been through everything together to get here and their only purpose is to bring incredible music and art to the world. This is Highly Sedated.”

It was that belief that led @marcusschossow to begin the Code Red Music project in 2015. Based upon the concept of having talent meet talent, the label’s values as both an institution and record company were quickly acclaimed by many.

Code Red is focused on the musical journey and experience. Here, we value charts just as much as discovery. At the core of this journey is interaction. Through the shared vision of Marcus, our artists and our fans, we aspire to expand our quest for musical freedom and friendship.

Friendship is an important construct, and this involves you. Through interviews, tutorials and feedback sessions, we at Code Red want to hear your thoughts and help you improve your music. We want you to become part of this shared belief, and “have the options to create what we really want to do, without anyone telling us how”.
