[BTRY'059] MASCHINE BRENNT - "ELECTRO ELITE" [2019]


Behind Maschine Brennt you will find Joacim Thenander, a guy with a long experience in making computer based music.

In the late 80's he was a member of Industrial Synth band Systema, The Affliction and later he was the driving force behind the trash Synth/Hip Hop crossover duo Cultivated Bimbo.

In the late 90's he released more mainstream dance music and remixes, mainly House and Techno stuff but also a few DnB tracks.

Maschine Brennt was born in 1991 as a project on the side of Cultivated Bimbo. The following year, Maschine Brennt made only three public performances and together with Joacim was a few more members on stage to add some extra spice to the almost theatrical performances. Maschine Brennt made just a handful tracks during the 90's and after the turn of the millenium Joacim concentraded more on his other projects focusing on Techno and House again.

Today Joacim is releasing tracks using many different names, such as Mobhead, Gorgl, Killa Dawgs, Joey Lucas, Syntronik and Microlab. But the main focus is once again on Maschine Brennt.

(Jim Funk) is currently residing in Panama City Beach, Fl and enjoys all genre's of music. Born James E Murphy in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida on September 17, 1984, Jim Funk, so named by Dustin C member of Lab Man Records after his crazy style of funky music merged with today's Dark bass and Pretty styles. Always playing the new top and underground HEAT! He has been professionally producing since the age of 18 (2003) and has DJ'd in clubs like Club La Vela, The Swamp, Rock Star, NightTown, House of Blues, Club LA, Spinnaker Beach Club,District Night Club, Festivals and local bars around the United States. To the date he continues to produce and play all style music. Curently he is on Gigabeat Records, Gigabeat nights record label, Genuine Debbie D Records, Kaleidoscope MUSIC, Therabeat Records  with remixes on Nolabeat records. He is also the founder and CEO of Bass-A-holix Anonymous Ent. To date he is charting one of the highest in beatport in Breakbeats and Trap. Code Rising is an American Electro duo that was formed in 2010 and consists of Matt Lancaster (South Carolina) and Ryan Phillips (South Florida). Over the years, Code Rising has shared the stage and worked with some of the biggest names in the Electro music scene; performing live mainly in Miami and the surrounding Florida coasts.

After a healthy line of digital releases on Monotone Records from 2010-2013, the duo saw the release of their first full-length CD "Dissemination Protocol" on their own label, Propulsion Recordings. 2021 saw the largest release from the duo yet; "A Spectral Odyssey" was released digitally via BandCamp with a whopping 18 track playlist. Accounting for original and collaborative work, the duo have more than several 12" EP releases in their catalogue. Most of the Code's discography can be found on Soundcloud and Bandcamp!
