So, when I started playing this set, I wasn't sure how long I'd make it, or what would happen. I didn't actually feel like playing. Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't, right? Well, I'm glad I did, because after making myself stand behind the gear, ~3-hours later this is what I came away with. I guess you could say, "I Went off on One!!" 

These are mostly new tracks. A few maybe older, but they are new to me. I had about 55 tracks I hadn't played. I intended on playing the electro tracks separately from the breaks tracks, but once I got started, I kinda just went with the flow, and created a journey. 

Typically, I will start with higher or lower BPM's and work my way up, or down, and finish. This time I started about 124 BPM, worked my way up to about 138 BPM, and then back down to about 130 BPM. This was my 1st time through all of these tracks, so the mixes aren't perfect, but they are good enough to put out there for you guys to hear. 

I spend a lot, and I mean A LOT, of time digging for music. I love it when I find the hidden nuggets that no one else had the patience to dig for. The thrill of the hunt, if you will. This particular journey has a little bit of everything in it. There's some "vibey breaks" with some of the best female vocals. And then there's some filthy ass electro with some of the funkiest basslines you could hope for. I had a lot of fun dropping the beats. I hope you have as much fun listening, as I did playing.

Code Rising Vs Cloak - The Pulse

Code Rising is an American Electro duo that was formed in 2010 and consists of Matt Lancaster (South Carolina) and Ryan Phillips (South Florida). Over the years, Code Rising has shared the stage and worked with some of the biggest names in the Electro music scene; performing live mainly in Miami and the surrounding Florida coasts.

After a healthy line of digital releases on Monotone Records from 2010-2013, the duo saw the release of their first full-length CD "Dissemination Protocol" on their own label, Propulsion Recordings. 2021 saw the largest release from the duo yet; "A Spectral Odyssey" was released digitally via BandCamp with a whopping 18 track playlist. Accounting for original and collaborative work, the duo have more than several 12" EP releases in their catalogue. Most of the Code's discography can be found on Soundcloud and Bandcamp!
