This song is about the unforeseen dangers of late-night voyages and its vulture filled dark hours. In retrospect, one could only had been so lucky to made it out alive out of dark trenches. This applies to wars and many other undesirable circumstances. A person may had been blessed by luck to have seen it through but nonetheless a witness to the horror and sheer cold of those dark realities. The male vocal is the personification of those dark realities, and the female vocals is the inner voice (your conscious) warning you of the dangers ahead.

Code Rising is an American Electro duo that was formed in 2010 and consists of Matt Lancaster (South Carolina) and Ryan Phillips (South Florida). Over the years, Code Rising has shared the stage and worked with some of the biggest names in the Electro music scene; performing live mainly in Miami and the surrounding Florida coasts.

After a healthy line of digital releases on Monotone Records from 2010-2013, the duo saw the release of their first full-length CD "Dissemination Protocol" on their own label, Propulsion Recordings. 2021 saw the largest release from the duo yet; "A Spectral Odyssey" was released digitally via BandCamp with a whopping 18 track playlist.
