The original Mixer Fixer EP released back in 2019 with major success. And now, 4 years later, Part 2 is here! Here's the rundown: we have 3 remixes of Mixer Fixer along with the original. The Berretta Bros. smash it in their version with killer brass and brilliant, dramatic arpeggios layered over a killer low end beat. Debonaire's remix is packed tight with fresh flare on the oldkool sounds, pitched 808s, and cleans hats and snares one would expect from the legend himself. DOH kills it in his rendition with it's hard knocking bass, smashing snares, and his signature driving force style. None of these 3 can go wrong on the dance floor!

All original by yours truly are On Entry, These Prototypes, and Dark Theories. We hope you enjoy the dancy darkness from these three.

"Hello, my friends. It’s a big honor for me to release this EP on YUKU because I sincerely love lots of releases of this label and follow them practically since the day they started. I’ve created 5 tracks specially for this release.

They turned out to be very diverse, quite different, but at the same time cohesive.
5 tracks — like 5 variations and 5 stairs of my life. The cover by my friend, Kyiv-based artist Bohdan Burenko, perfectly outlines the mood of this EP. It shows 5 faces, 5 characters, and 5 stories.

I should mention that some demos for these tracks I wrote back in 2018, when I lived in California. And the basis for ‘The Wall’ I wrote in the suburbs of Los Angeles in a small town Walnut. This explains the song title. Back then, I listened to a lot of old-school Metalheadz tracks, and I guess this music had a big impact on the atmosphere of this track. Same story with ‘Runnin’ Out’ - I made the demo in US, then finished it when I was preparing the release for YUKU. ‘Offset Range1’ is my personal favorite. I wrote it in Kyiv, when I had Covid and
was tweaking knobs on my sampler and automation on my synth. 99’ is my nostalgia for good ol’ breakbeat and ‘Vezhlivy Otkaz’ has the most unusual drop I have ever written. Of course, it’s an honor for me to have a remix by Tim Reaper on board, because I’m his fan.

I’m writing this text now in Kyiv. Because of Russian invasion, I’m not sure what my future will be like, but I don’t see any reason to postpone this release. All the profit from this EP I’d like to send for the charity & restoration of the infrastructure of Ukraine.

"Drifter Dub & Perception draw from a deep inner feeling that connects the four elements — earth / water / air / fire.
Everything is connected and surrounded by these four elements in varying ratios and levels of interaction. With these tracks, I wanted to elicit a mood that gives the feeling of being in nature with all these elements, dancing around a fire in the forest, getting lost in the kind of hypnotic rhythm and percussion that can put you in an ecstatic higher frequency state. The Forest Drive West remix of "Perception“ captures that all and completes the release perfectly."

Code Rising is an American Electro duo that was formed in 2010 and consists of Matt Lancaster (South Carolina) and Ryan Phillips (South Florida). Over the years, Code Rising has shared the stage and worked with some of the biggest names in the Electro music scene; performing live mainly in Miami and the surrounding Florida coasts.

After a healthy line of digital releases on Monotone Records from 2010-2013, the duo saw the release of their first full-length CD "Dissemination Protocol" on their own label, Propulsion Recordings. 2021 saw the largest release from the duo yet; "A Spectral Odyssey" was released digitally via BandCamp with a whopping 18 track playlist. Accounting for original and collaborative work, the duo have more than several 12" EP releases in their catalogue. Most of the Code's discography can be found on Soundcloud and Bandcamp!
