Darkhighways

After playing vinyl for more days in a row than I can count, I had the itch for some digital sounds. We loaded up the van and headed to Club Dizzina and this is what happened. There are a couple of bumps in this 4-hour set, one of the tracks just quit playing, and I missed a mix or two. But, I had a lot of fun playing this set and didn't want to stop when I did. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Musically Skynets' 808 work is in electrifying form hence the disciple part. The songs are vibrant, heavy, melodic. Beats are some of the best he has ever creatively put together and the excitement  shows thru.  Taking equal parts raw techno,  Melodic Thrash, Classic Florida rave and mixed with an electro-funk style full of grand details and synth layers and even elements of doom and well molding them into a completely coherent mix that works.

Code Rising + Gucci Bass - Don't Stop The Beat (Feat. EPG)

Code Rising is an American Electro duo that was formed in 2010 and consists of Matt Lancaster (South Carolina) and Ryan Phillips (South Florida). Over the years, Code Rising has shared the stage and worked with some of the biggest names in the Electro music scene; performing live mainly in Miami and the surrounding Florida coasts.

After a healthy line of digital releases on Monotone Records from 2010-2013, the duo saw the release of their first full-length CD "Dissemination Protocol" on their own label, Propulsion Recordings. 2021 saw the largest release from the duo yet; "A Spectral Odyssey" was released digitally via BandCamp with a whopping 18 track playlist. Accounting for original and collaborative work, the duo have more than several 12" EP releases in their catalogue. Most of the Code's discography can be found on Soundcloud and Bandcamp!
