I've Been spinning/ producing Breaks since 2001. I used to own and operate spinthatshit.com an online web store for about 3 years specializing in Rare Florida Breaks records with the main goal of promoting the sound across the globe. Responsible for at least 10,000+ rare breaks making it to the far corners of the earth, to as close as your own back yard! In my mid 20's I walked away from the scene for quite sometime to start a family with my wife, but breakbeats have always been a part of me..... Flash forward to 2015, I'm rebooted and ready to roll! Every mix tells an emotional story that people can relate to, in a world that seems to lack true connection. The music is what binds us all together. One nation under BASS! Here to breakdown every wall that "they've" built around us, with thundering force! My mission is a simple one, to push the breakbeat sound across the globe, one mix/song at at time, attempting to tap into the emotions of the people listening in a way that only Breaks can. Code Rising is an American Electro duo that was formed in 2010 and consists of Matt Lancaster (South Carolina) and Ryan Phillips (South Florida). Over the years, Code Rising has shared the stage and worked with some of the biggest names in the Electro music scene; performing live mainly in Miami and the surrounding Florida coasts.

After a healthy line of digital releases on Monotone Records from 2010-2013, the duo saw the release of their first full-length CD "Dissemination Protocol" on their own label, Propulsion Recordings. 2021 saw the largest release from the duo yet; "A Spectral Odyssey" was released digitally via BandCamp with a whopping 18 track playlist. Accounting for original and collaborative work, the duo have more than several 12" EP releases in their catalogue. Most of the Code's discography can be found on Soundcloud and Bandcamp!
