Somnambulism is about the mental and social shortcuts we use to sleep walk our way through our daily lives.  It’s about stripping back the layers and acknowledging our true selves, honestly, without pretending to be something that we are not. It also addresses the usual Codewalkers topics of social inequality and the disconnect that individual’s find between their internal landscapes and the irritatingly pointless reality that confronts them outside of dreams. Basically drilling society.

Edinburgh indie-folk artist Hailey Beavis has announced her debut album, 'i'll put you where the trombone slides', will be released on November 4th via OK Pal Records. The album, which has been seven years in the making, is a celebration of resilience, determination and evidence of an artist who has overcome many obstacles to reach where they are today. The first single, ‘Crow’, is a wonderfully warped track about the journey to self acceptance.
