The fifth installment of Greyscale’s Exposure series, Refractive Index, continues the label’s focus on vinyl DJ culture with these four gems pressed onto Crystal Clear 180-gram wax. Featuring artists from around the world, this compilation blends dub techno foundations with playful rhythmic variations. Massimo Music opens the record with 'Poly Crystals', a dense, atmospheric cut driven by cascading chords that arc and shimmer over a powerful groove. An amazing track that shows the tracks don't need to be long to be as epic. Also, on Side-A, German producer Armin Bender lightens the mood with 'The Other Side'. This track’s crisp percussion and stuttering beats give it a restless energy. Bright and melodic, it carries a breezy, almost carefree vibe while maintaining just enough rhythmic complexity to avoid predictability. DJs seeking something both brisk and accessible will find it here. Flipping over, Australia’s Noosa Sound System brings 'Dub Move', merging house’s dancefloor functionality with classic dub aesthetics. The slamming beat and sharp percussive snap offer high energy, but the track still feels relaxed making it the perfect balance of the other tracks. Biography: 
Tommy Köler at the age of 16 discovered his love for electronic music. At that time he was inspired by music sets of Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Karotte and many other artists. He also had a big interest in spinning records. Tom began to create Mixes... He put on records in many reputable locations in his homeland and at numerous radio stations like Sputnik Radio for example. He showed his brilliant DJ skills at many parties, listen to his wonderful mix.

This time, Tom has recorded a special mix to celebrate the 5th anniversary of our signature podcast, DUBBISM.

Biography: 
Daniil Lalenkov aka Sleney was born on 06/16/1996 in the city of Yartsevo, Smolensk region. Acquaintance with music began when a tape recorder appeared with CDs and cassettes. From the beginning of 2020, the artist began a new stage in his musical activity. He began to study the FL Studio program in more depth, experimenting in it, began to come to his unique sound, creating a recognizable handwriting. The author's music is clearly inspired by nature. That is why his music is so atmospheric and original. In some of his compositions he uses field recordings, due to this, his compositions become more lively, atmospheric and nostalgic, evoking warm memories in the listener. At the moment, Daniil uses FL Studio to write his music and create podcasts, it is in this program that all his ideas are implemented.
