When we asked Pegassi to make a mix for us, he said yes immediately. With more than 3 months to the deadline, he chilled. A little too much, and he missed the date.

Determined to get it done, Pegassi packed his DJ setup, took it on a flight to Berlin, and recorded the mixtape in his hotel room in one take before playing at a gig. The result is a raw, authentic blend of his favourite tracks at the moment, including some personal favourites he’s been blasting in the car. We love it and Pegassi loves it too and we both got a fun story to share

Pegassi is the musical persona of Sam Huybrecht from Antwerp, Belgium. He first gained attention when his remix of ‘No Type’ shot to #1 on SoundCloud’s global charts. His sound blends techno, trance, house, and hip-hop, and has caught the attention of industry heavyweights like Anetha, Patrick Mason, TRYM, VTSS, and Joyhauser.

Pegassi has performed at major events such as Intercell, Modul’air, Die Rakete, and the legendary Pukkelpop festival. His track ‘Yoyoyo’ became a club anthem, earning support from top DJs including Solomun and Joris Voorn.

It was an absolute honour to collaborate with the legendary S-J on the official remix of her brand-new single "Stay" – out now on Matt Waterhouse’s HAPPY? Recordings!

S-J dominated the 90s club scene with iconic tracks like Fever, I Feel Divine, and Shiver, scoring Top 40 hits and UK Dance Chart smashes including I Need You, What You Do To Me Baby and Paraiso. As one half of Baby Doc & S-J, she helped define the hard house sound, performing worldwide with legends like Judge Jules, Sasha, Carl Cox, Tall Paul and Tony De Vit.

Getting the chance to remix "Stay" and bring my own flavour to this dancefloor anthem has been an amazing experience.
