In such a short space of time, Montreal's Solid Stone has firmly established himself in the upper echelons of the progressive genre, with his easily identifiable grooves and dark tones. He embarks on a new adventure through Coldharbour by presenting his We Are One series, with Chapter 1 yielding three gorgeous pieces.

For two of the three pieces, Solid Stone reaches out to friends Michael Gin and Ghost Wars, to apply their interpretation on Xonic and More respectively. The former is an ideal mood setter for the evening, with luscious and vibrant ease; whilst More is such an infectious vocal treat; one that you will be singing along to after a first listen. And not to be outshone on his own right, Watchmen rounds off another fantastic palette of work.

We Are One - Chapter 1 demonstrates why Solid Stone is so highly regarded, and luckily for all of us, there is more to come. With support on all three tracks by Markus Schulz among others, this is an essential if you lean towards those dark progressive vibes.
