Avec un set enregistré lors de la soirée au StereoBar de Montréal...

Né à Veracruz, Mexique mais adopté par la ville de Montréal en 2009, Chiino c'est fondé une solide réputation avec sa touche et sa définition sur
la scène musicale électronique. 

Sur les années passées Chiino a pu partager sa musique dans les festivals et clubs de musique de classe mondiale et partageant des scènes avec de nombreux DJ de renom et producteurs tels que : 

John Tejada, Ellen Alien, Christian Löffler, Sid le Rock, Dave Seaman, 
Konstantin Sibold, Einmusik & Stephan Bodzin pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns..
Sur l'année 2015 avec son partenaire Van Did et Rafa Pineda, ils ont co-fondé 8day.
Collectif, 3 ans plus tard qui sera l'une des principales organisations de musique électronique underground dans Montréal et  au Canada.

Son style musical est riche en mélodie, groove et des sons hypnotiques, en tant que conteur naturel, Chiino infuse des éléments du monde dans des performances qui vous surprennent quand vous vous y attendez-le moins.

Duo à son immense amour pour la musique, vous le verrez rarement
jouer les mêmes morceaux, ses sets sont variés et polyvalents et  d'une qualité qui lui donne la possibilité de s'adapter aux besoins des pistes de danses.

Membre actif des Grrreat Recordings, famille depuis 2013. Il prendre soin, de contribuer et connecter les gens, c'est sa principale préoccupation.

Fondé en 2015, le collectif de montréal 8day se spécialise dans la diffusion et la promotion de musique électronique de pointe, à la fois finement sélectionnée et produite avec passion, par des artistes créatifs du monde entier.

Nous nous consacrons à la création de plateformes soigneusement organisées sur lesquelles les artistes et les labels peuvent partager leur travail, collaborer et découvrir de nouveaux talents.

“An unseen balance between light and darkness”

Scattering for many years between different underground music genres, this frequency collided with the techno soundscape in 2016, creating an outburst of energy.

Equipped with a rumbling, driving, and unseen dedication to his passion, his journey began...

After he took the Belgian MUSICASA producer’s education, as a first step to pursuing his dream, he quickly released EP's and remixes on melodic techno labels such as SMR Underground, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft, and Papaya music.

After releasing and performing on various stages, and through the process of producing and self-awareness, he felt the melodic techno genre wasn’t the perfect reflection of what inspired and drove him.

In 2022 he had a change of heart as he started focusing more on
underground hypnotic, atmospheric and ambient techno, reaching for that inner spirit and dynamic balance. This resulted in releases on some of the biggest labels in the hypnotic scene like DORIAN, The Gods Planet, BAHN, Khoros, Informa, Space Textures, Arcadia,... with many more on the way.

Host of the podcast ‘Adjust (BE) Invites’ (2020-2023), he invited numerous DJ’s and Producers to make a signature guest mix, where the DJ/producer is the key element.

For over 130 episodes spreading over 3 years and reaching new listeners each month, the fanbase and mutual respect between colleagues kept growing daily.

In 2023 he started a new and hypnotic/deep-techno-exclusive podcast called ‘Andhera’, which translates to ‘darkness’ in Sanskrit. With every Full Moon or Solar Eclipse, a talented and highly respected DJ/producer creates a unique story.

An artist, hand-picked by himself, whom he highly admires, respects and who empowers and understands techno’s dark, ambient and emotional side.⁠

His style of playing and producing can be described as a perfectly, yet delicate, carved out balance between light and darkness, melancholic and emotionally charged. Cinematic sounds, rich and full of atmospheres, super evocative soundscapes with an inexplicable soul that can only be grasped when fully immersed into it.
