This time we have invited hopeless romantic, a great asset to the London scene, to craft something iconic for us. Originally from Italy but now based in London, hopeless romantic started his career *just* last year after being inspired by his beloved FOLD community.

He expresses himself through an array of captivating tracks and his mixing style is strongly shaped by the underground groove, hard groove, tribal and hypnotic sounds which always aim to take dancers on a proper journey.

This mix is absolutely slamming from start to finish - thank you mate for the submission! Big love xxx

Bonjour tout le monde ! Des mois que vous nous la demandez, des semaines qu’on la peaufine, voici la nouvelle DECADE MIXTAPE !

Carte postale d’une époque et véritable madeleine de Proust, cette fois-ci direction les années 90 pour plus d’une heure de musiques et d’actualités qui ont rythmé la décennie ; de l’arrivée du Bi-Bop (premier téléphone mobile) aux prémices de l’Union Européenne en passant par la crainte du bug de l’an 2000… 

Ce concept n’aurait certainement jamais vu le jour sans le travail du duo australien Flight Facilities qui nous ont inspirés en réalisant plusieurs mixtapes en anglais sur le même thème. Nous voulions, à notre tour, proposer ce format avec un regard plus personnel sur cette 
époque et une dimension francophone qui nous tient à coeur.

Merci également au français SIMS Samples qui marie avec brio samples d’origines et productions de hip-hop des années 90 mis à l’honneur dans notre nouvelle mixtape.

Franck est un DJ passionné depuis 1989, bercé par les sons de la Funk, de la Soul, du Jazz, les productions de la Motown ou encore Prince. Sa passion pour ces genres musicaux l'a naturellement conduit à découvrir la Techno de Detroit, la House de Chicago et celle de New York, en prenant pour modèles Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, Mike Banks, Derrick May, Kenny Larkin... En 1998, il franchit le pas de la composition et réalise un remix du titre "Greed" de Laurent Garnier, qui sort en vinyle sur F Communication. Plus récemment, on l'a retrouvé sur Metrohm, le label de Tevatron, et sur Cod3 QR, le label de Laurent Garnier et Scan X. Berlin’s rising talent ichmeinjogi has been shaping soundscapes since the age of 14, earning a reputation for electrifying dancefloors with his versatile style, ranging from groovy and hard-groovy Techno to high-energy and melodic Trance. Born in 2000, his music delivers an fusion of driving rhythms, crafting an atmosphere that is both euphoric and relentless. While ichmeinjogi's roots lie in the heavier realms of Techno, Schranz and Harder Styles, his passion for diverse sounds has pushed him to always explore new territories.

For this podcast, he presents his very first groovy Techno set, highlighting a new side of his musical journey.

Eddy Sco

Eddy Sco (contraction d'Etienne Deveche Discothèque) a commencé sa collection de vinyles en 2013 lorsqu'il arrive à Angers. 

Mélomane éclectique et festivalier curieux depuis l'âge de 16 ans, il n'aurait jamais imaginé devenir programmateur radio qui est son métier à Radio Campus Angers depuis 2015. 

Cette expérience lui a permis d'élargir ses découvertes et de développer une vision émancipatrice de la musique. Il co-anime l'émission Bounce & Dream sur où il partage son amour pour les musiques électroniques du passé et du futur. 

En tant que DJ, il aime entrelacer des ambiances douces, le groove de la musique du monde, la black music allant de la soul au hip-hop en passant par le reggae, la voluptueuse house et les cyber-méandres de l'electro et de la techno. 
Il a toujours hâte de vous rencontrer sur une piste aux étoiles pour de nouvelles immersions et explorations sonores.

Inez Akker

Inez Akker is an emerging Techno artist from Spain based in the Netherlands. In 2018, she began her musical journey when she purchased her first DJ gear, exploring the depths of Techno and recording sets that she shared on SoundCloud. 

She quickly gained recognition and secured her first gig at H7 Warehouse with Olivier Weiter, hosted by Amsterdam's promoter Dutch Techno Venue.

Inspired by her love for Electronic Music, she became a Resident DJ and Assistant Manager at Papaya Records, showcasing her talent at prominent clubs such as PIP and Magazijn in The Hague.

Inez's musical aspirations led her to invest time in the studio during the challenging period of 2020-2021, refining her production skills and elevating her DJ abilities. 

As a result, she crafted a unique sound that combines raw, groovy and hypnotic elements layered on top of her signature banging beat.

Her passion and dedication have garnered recognition in the industry over the years. Among her milestones, she won SAE Amsterdam's ADE Production Challenge in 2022, played regular gigs at Melkweg Amsterdam as a resident of Techno Tuesday since 2022, and signed multiple releases with reputable record labels, solidifying her position as a rising force in the Techno scene.

Synatec

Synatec is a longtime techno DJ and producer, whose experience and passion for electronic music are reflected in her selections and performances. Throughout her career, she has captured the raw essence of techno music, blending innovation and heritage, becoming a key figure in the European techno scene.

For its collaboration with the Collation Electronique show, broadcast on French radio during the month of September 2025, Synatec has chosen to highlight three exceptional artists who, each in their own way, are redefining the boundaries of techno music.
