THAT CLOUD is a collaboration by JS Adams (BLK w/BEAR) and Christopher Mathews-Larsen (Grave Nature) as THAT and Chris Videll’s Tag Cloud project. The one-hour audio work from their La Règle des Tiers recording sessions – “A self-portrait of Thomas Eakins, seen at the left-hand side of the painting, next to the tunnel railing, with a white cuffed sleeve sketching or writing” – will be performed at QUEERING SOUND, 13 June 2021 @ Rhizome DC, Washington DC.

This is a recording of my opening set on June 29th at the first Homotekno event in six years and the first underground Homotekno event in 12 years. It was really exciting to bring my first queer party concept back to life.

I played faster than usual, starting with dubby and deep but groovy tracks and ending with banging warehouse techno. 133 to 140 BPM. Enjoy!
