Episode 31 of the CommaCast Series lands from London based after party magician DaeL.

Impressing us with his mix for Paralanguage, displaying a fine selection of deep rollers and intrusive soundscapes we only felt appropriate to get his style on our series. We love these styles of mixes where it really gets into your head and floats you away to a dark, misty warehouse space, DaeL's does just that. Imaginary Berlin smoked up dark rave here we come...!

Sorry that it took so long to get this show up. This one was definitely the hardest session to put together in our whole history of existence. We did this session from Oakland, CA right after our gig at the early hours of the morning and had many technical restraints including a bad mic. We're working on perfecting this show when we are on the road. No excuses. Due to limitations we made up for it by including a live recording of Dpat's recent set at our TSOT residency @ the Echoplex last Thursday. We also included a quick live set from Sivey while we played in London at The Nest during our EU tour. 

On the other hand we were hesitant about uploading this show because we are fearful of it getting taken down like our recent Show #171 which was taken down for 'Copyright Infringements'. This is a serious matter that is going on in the music/internet world -- especially on SoundCloud. UMG is taking more of an aggressive approach and we pretty much feel like we are walking on egg shells when it comes to certain remixes or original mainstream tracks that we play. An up and coming name within the Manchester circuit, Caff, who's spent the best part of a decade collecting a widespread of underground sounds. This mix showcases a glimpse of what this selectors capable of and we're hyped to have his unique style on the series.

Landing in for a much welcomed instalment to the CommaCast Series, L Daze (she/her) brings the psychedelic goodness for episode 78.
Starting her journey behind the booth in Birmingham via collective Selextorhood, now based in London, L Daze has been shelling out masterful recent sets for prestigious names such as Goddezz, Aquatic Formations, Whomp and Rhythm Section. Drawing inspiration from the 90's / early 00's trance and prog era, this talented selector combines old-school hypnotic sounds with the paced up state of modern dance floors. This hour long mix for us represents just a taste of the sheer class L Daze has when it comes to crafting absorbing story telling through tripped out grooves and mind melting sonic atmospheres. Superb stuff!

Slamming it down for episode 79 of the CommaCast Series we have Manchester-based Sassafrass co-founder, JON XVM!

Displaying for us a no-holds-barred powerhouse of old-school and modernised underground prog house sounds, Jon takes us on a mighty journey of pre-summer party fuel. Launching brand Sassafrass back in 2022, a project that would quickly lead towards playing sets at ADE, Glastonbury, as well as regular club events in Manchester and Leeds. Jon's taste is diverse yet top tier in finding those sweet gems, and this mix for us showcases that skillset he has to piece superb selections together. Get locked into this one!

Episode 80 has landed! Welcoming to the Comma family a quickly rising name within the London circuit going by the name of Julia SC.

Midlands-raised, SE-London-based Julia SC's taste for melodically tripped out euphoric dance music was shaped in Leeds when serving as an Editor for the (now defunct) Flux blog - the much loved House and Techno event, and label. Now making a rapidly growing presence for herself within the London trance and prog scene, Julia has graced us with a delicately crafted mix that paints a sunkissed hug in the form of vintage deeply dug electro, breakbeat, trance and prog. What's so distinctive about this mix is how much it showcases an individual sound for this absolute talent of a selector and how we are held in a space of complete escapism from the first track to the last.
